I’d say use his his down 3 alot since it’s fast and has good range in order to stop the opponents momentum and jail them. I do that a lot after a jab to knowledge check them and to see how how often they react to the overhead or command grab after a jab. (Round 2 of the first game) And definitely spam the stars.

I think you mean escape from a throw and to do that you have to throw as well within a small timing window. They teach you how to do it in tutorial

I main scorpion as well and people say that all the time, trust me with Scorpion theres not much you can do to open people up for combos, so the grab comes into play a lot for mixups
