I had the Coby 828 MP3 Player, it was a piece of crap, my brother had the same one and for some reason his camera was more clear even though they were both 0.3 megapixels, and his screen was a little bit brighter, it was really crappy but it was better then these ones, then I got an iPod touch 4 and I was so happy, then I didn’t want my old one so my sister through it at the wall and the screen got destroyed, it didn’t crack because it was plastic and not glass, the screen broke the same way TVs and non-touch screen screens break where they become all glitched and colorful

By the way, if you ever need to remove this sticky rubber from something, Isopropyl Alcohol dissolves the rubber perfectly but leaves the plastic intact. Worked well for two items (and not so well when I had Isoprope on my finger and touched the rubber on my mouse)

I had one of these! It actually has a resistive touch screen, not capacitive like modern phones, which combined with the terrible UI just made for an awful experience. It was better to use it with a pencil. But it could play music, which was all I cared for until I could get my hands on a proper, not nightmare inducing device. I still have it btw, the battery is gone but still powers on.

I used to have a bootleg iPod touch. It was more pressing the screen than touching it. The little nug survived a whole year, and what a great year it was. It was a great time waster for those long road trips. I watched hundreds of episodes of animes on it. It was like having a little TV in your hand, and at that time where smart phone was non existent, it was all such a novelty.

It's 500mah. It's just ridiculous how that could work with a so tiny battery. But the rockchip chipset is not that bad, it's the screen that draws so much power. When the screen is off you could expect ipod mini 1st Gen battery life out of this thing

@@benjiderrick4590 Oh the Rockchip ones! Those were the best of the generic ones indeed, I remember I had one too, 320x240 screen and touch buttons, 4GB. Navigation was pretty fast and audio quality was (for my ears listening to MP3 in crappy earphones) pretty good. Just video playback was odd: it would only support .AVI files with .MP2 audio (yes, MP2, NOT MP3) and up to *20* FPS .XviD video, with some specific b-frame and i-frame limitations that I don't remember anymore. I went quite deep into testing and probing around the files that it supported back then, to not rely on the weird converter programs that were provided otherwise.

Honestly watching this again made me get memories of me as a child using wired earphones all the time and them getting really hot all of the time. They one day gave up on me by one of them exploding and not working and the other piece wich i used a couple of more months basically melted the glue holding the case and i accidentally broke it like that

This interesting language of a bootleg poo is actually mine. It is czech language, czech republic is under germany and poland. The Craig was my first MP4 player 🤣 I used to watch Master of Disguise in school on it. People actually thought it was an iPhone despite being considerably smaller. Also the Craig has a different UI than the one that actually worked, you could only scroll by using the up and down arrows on the side of the screen and you had to keep tapping, you couldn't just hold or swipe 😂
