Man the trail looks beautiful, do not know how you handle hiking in warmer weather, I live in tn so my camping season ends in March and doesn't start till Oct, congrats

Cave Springs has the BEST water voted nationally many years running. Folks in California sends busses to get water for many communities.

I don’t get it: why do you have to get it on schedule ? It’s not a race! What’s the point if you cannot enjoy the scenery and visit new places? Might as well run on a trail mill!

Because I was planning on going to Appalachian Trail Trail Days. I still had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, visit a ton of new places and challenge myself with some bigger mile days! Do I prefer to be on a time schedule? Absolutely not. However for this one time I had somewhat of a time constraint

Having a tentative schedule makes sense for most people. After all, not everyone leads a life so carefree that they can meander through the meadows of time, permanently unhinged from the shackles of appointments and obligations. Time suspended in reality might be a luxury for a select few!
