I found a lump on the side of my right breast back in September and asked my mom to check and she said I think we need to go to the doctors. I had a biopsy and was told it was Fibroadenoma then a few weeks later I had a call from the hospital to say they hadn't got enough tissue and I had to have a mammogram then in November I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Yes please get checked don't bury your head in the sand ❤❤❤❤

Hello I’m 59 and am having a double mastectomy on 2/27. I’m choosing to remove my healthy right breast too. I was ready to be wheeled in to the OR on 2/8 and Covid test came back positive. I also have IDC HR+HER2- stage 1. A 7mm malignancy that I would have NEVER felt. So these last 20 days have been going by so slow! I did have genetic testing and do not have any genes for it. I’m glad for that. Hopefully means my daughter won’t be at a higher risk for this. My care team is also positive that this is highly treatable and especially at such an early stage. I have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I raised my kids alone so I know the fear and struggle you’re going through where your daughter is concerned. I don’t want to lose my hair either but if they determine after my final pathology report that chemo is the best route I will lose it with grace, I am a hair stylist and hair is IMPORTANT to me! I’m so glad you’re doing this video. I also thank you. I will look forward to following your journey. I will remember you in my prayers and stay strong. 💪 you got this! Forgot to mention I will be having reconstructive surgery. I will also be on the estrogen blockers for 5-10 years.

Thank you for sharing your story. I was diagnosed with IDC stage 3b. It’s been stressful and overwhelming. I start my treatment on Friday and I am terrified! I will be doing AC-T as well. Four rounds of AC and 4 rounds of T every other week for 16 weeks followed by surgery and radiation plus the hormone therapy. Your videos helped me knowing I am not alone and I can do this! 👋 Hi Bri I've been following your journey. I am glad you shared your KZfaq especially your 1st one where you said even if your Dr didn't feel your lump help it along use the gravity. I felt my lump in November 2023 but wasn't able to get in to Mammogram until Feb 2024 I called the place where I get Mammogram and they said get your Dr. To draw a diagram where the lump is and it to us so we can hopefully see you sooner. The soonest I was able to see my Dr. Dr Sangeetha Nadarajah Was January 2024. She Examined me lying down. She compared my left and my right breast so quickly and asked me isn't this feels just like this one? Doesn't this feel like muscle? She then said I have a sister (I can't remember sister or aunt, a family member anyway) and she expressed how much she cares and take it seriously and suggested I take a cancer hereditary test. She might have done it to comfort me but she made it hard for me to want to insist that she recheck. The lump I felt was size of a quarter. My hubby was able to feel it too. After my Mammogram appointment on Feb 28 2024 I was called in for a 2nd Mammogram appointment and ultrasound right away because they saw something. I wasn't able to get in until April 30th I kept calling everyday to see if there was any cancelation so I can get in earlier. When I got in on April 4th the ultrasound technician told me you need to get biopsies in 2 places. I was 5th in line for a cancelation at that point and wasn't able to get in until May 28th. I kept calling everyday and finally I faxed a letter to them saying my lump has progressed rapidly and I can now also feel clustered lumps around my right niple. April 18th my case got transferred to BC Cancer and by that time the size of my lump was 7.4 cm and I have 4 clustered lumps & finally diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. My question is do you think I should let Dr. Nadarajah know as a learning experience for me to know how to express my condition and more importantly for her so other patients can benefit from my experience to examine upright too. In June I got my hereditary cancer test and all 30 gene tests including the BRCA1 AND BRCA2 came out negative. Had I done the test and relaxed about it I would have been in worse of condition. I am now with a different GP who is caring and listen to my concerns. That's the silver lining. By May 8th I have gotten my first chemo treatment 😃. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🙏 you are keeping me stay positive and one day at a time mantra helps me alot.

My sister (65 years old) recently diagnosed same thing stage 1B, not sure HER + or -. She has had heart test, Liver test, port installed, MRI. Met with chemo team for initial visit and starts chemo on Dec 14 for 3 months. Surgery to follow then the radiation then immunotherapy for several years. My prayers are with you.

I suspect i could have breast cancer i am still in the process finding out. As cancer runs in the family i came across Chris Wark from chrisbeatcancer a long time ago he has his own youtube channel he was able to heal stage 3 colon cancer w/out chemo. Whether youve had chemo or not he has some very helpful advice as do the many people with many cancer types hes interviewed that promote healing and cancer reversal. Thanks for sharing - you’re touching more people than you even realize! I had a similar diagnosis to yours in Aug 2022. Oncotype test showed I didn’t need chemo so that was blessing! I did mastectomy followed by radiation and a now starting year 2 of the anti estrogen medication, Anastrazole for me. I encourage you to take it a step at a time, keep the faith and have grace for yourself on days when you need to take it easy. Your sweet daughter will be a joy throughout and remind you how wonderful simple things in life really are! Hope you feel almost our prayers and well wishes. I will have my port placed next Tuesday and Chemo starts the following day. I had my pre-op visit today. "How are you?" Me: "Is all over the board a clinical term?" LOL She qualified with, yes it is. I had the same cancer as you but mine was stage 1.about a year ago.but my surgeon wouldn't take both breast off.i asked him.i had a pea like not in my left breast for about 10.yrs every dr. kept saying a fluid nott.its only spread went it finily came out of my duct. I think 26:25 God put the right dr.in my path at that certain time.because it came of of my duct that's when it started spreading.pray things go well for you.prayers

I got my first mammogram at 30, second one at 35. My OBGYN wanted the first one in my 40's to have something to compared it to (I'll be 55 in May). I, personally, don't trust mammograms. I had one in June 2019 that showed everything was "normal." One month later, I woke up to red polka-dots all over my breast left breast (a commonly missed sign of breast cancer). I went to the surgical oncologist assistant and she told me I was bit by something, but I knew I hadn't because I looked at them with my 10x magnifying mirror and saw no puncture site. I insisted that I get my MRI ASAP as opposed to waiting until December of 2019. I was granted the MRI mid August (also started holistic treatment August, 2019). Not only was one mass was discovered, but they later found a second smaller mass. They wanted to biopsy the small mass. This would determine if I kept the breast or would loose the breast. While waiting for my biopsy, I continued my holistic treatments. I'm glad I did because the treatments killed the smaller mass and shrank the larger one by the same size! I was able to keep my breast and just had the one mass removed. Best decision EVER! I took 30 days to research ALL treatments and their short-term and long-term side effects before I made my final decision. One thing I would tell every woman; advocate for yourself!!! DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! You know your body better than anyone! Mine saved me from.... God only knows. COVID hit early the next year! Had I waited until December, testing into the 2020 would've been a nightmare because protocols changed DRASTICALLY! Had I waited, it could have spread while I was waiting to see how they were going to handle COVID and who would be deemed "necessary" surgeries as opposed to what they deem not urgent! 😢 I thank the Lord every time I'm reminded of what could've been. His providence is PERFECT! PS - I had to show the surgical oncologist and her assistant the article because they didn't know these red polka-dots were a sign of cancer. We should never blindly trust "the white coat". I made all my own medical decisions surrounding my cancer and 1) lost my primary doctor because she didn't like that I wasn't going to do conventional treatment, 2) my oncologist told me after surgery and I rejected conventional treatment, that had she known I wasn't going to do conventional treatments, they would've done the surgery and 3) my surgical oncologist told me to my face, without blinking, that my cancer was going to come back! 😢 I felt I was gaslighted by all three, but it didn't work. I have to live with MY decisions; they don't have to live with their decisions for me.

The guidelines for mammograms need to be changed. So many young women are getting breast cancer.

A sentinel node biopsy will remove only the nodes that the breast cancer feeds. I had 3 nodes removed from my left arm and today. I am able to have blood pressure and blood drawn from it.

Rather than getting the port, you may want to ask about a picc line. This option offers less chance of infection and it does not have to be surgically placed. That's what I had for chemo.

I am also ER PR and I have schedule for surgery this November 20

I had the same cancer as you. I want you to check out Dr. Ken Berry's YT videos on cancer. I believe that you need to starve the cancer cells through diet.
