My brother is the spitting image of my father. I mean most sons bare at least some resemblance to their dad but he looks like a direct clone. It's creepy looking at their childhood photos side by side. They look like twins. Funny enough tho, I look almost identical to my great grandma right down to her grey eyes and birthmark below the eye. Genetics are crazy.

My mom was identical to her great grandmother. Though my mom had one blue and one green eye, but we only had black and white pictures, so IDK if great great grandma had that trait. My oldest and youngest sisters at the age of around 11 each were not quite twin, but uncanny from family photos. They are only half siblings. They have been able to unlock each other's phones with a thirty year age difference. (Dad married right after highschool, divorced, and three decade later my younger sister was our parents' surprise life of change baby).

I had an old time picture taken at Silver Dollar City. It was printed on tin like back in the Western days. When I came back to town I went to my Grandmas house to show her. She got tears in her eyes and I thought "Omgosh....I've done something wrong!!!" She got up and went to her bedroom without saying a word. I felt so bad. Then she came back out of her bedroom holding a big oval picture. And she showed me the picture and held my picture next to it. OMGOSH!!! I was looking at myself about 100 plus years ago!! I was a reincarnation of my Great-Grandma Wiley.💜💜💜

My dad's side of the family has a family book it goes back about 4 or 500 years. And one of our Scottish ancestors look so familiar to my dad it wasn't even funny we kept making fun of my dad about it because according to the book he would have been about 250 years old by the time we looked at the book but I know for a fact it wasn't him because right now he's 6 ft under but it's pretty cool to be able to work at that book and look at my whole history of my dad's side of the family and this book is better than that stupid Gino thing that I keep seeing online or on TV 23andMe or something. It was weird we've had calls from different DNA groups to get a hold of my book of our family it stays in the family and gets passed around each portion of the generations so every generation gets it for a few years to look through then they have to pass it on to the next group so they can learn about our past too the book is huge it's old it stinks like an old book and the pages are so brittle that the original book is kept in a climate controlled safe we send out the copies to everyone else that way they can read and have their own copy

This is really good. I like the juxtaposition of a loving mother and a ravenous monster. The story also does a good job of portraying the idea of a harpy to its natural conclusion - it is trying to spread its bloodline, not all that different from any other animal. So, I can't help but think of this as a sort of comforting horror; sure, your family are all inhuman creatures with the power to affect the minds of others, but is that so bad? Great story that really makes you think about the implications!

I found a picture of a lady on a table at a library . On every table pictures are under glass . I looked at my daughter and my husband and just stared at my then 18 yrs old daughter . This lady looks like you in every way . No mum she looked and my husband it does . I got to talk to the librarian she told me they are photocopies of people who lived here 130 yrs ago . I found out it was my husband's family the lady was my daughters great great grandmother we didn't know . But now we have the family tree she is .

Omg to simply be in the presence of a 300 year old book, much less one about mythological creatures! I love old books, documents.

I have 2 paintings of my mom, playing piano...My mom was a classically trained concert pianist, and played with one of the worlds' best symphony orchestras. The 2 paintings I have are both reproductions... one, depicts my mom- seated at a 1700s spinnet...dressed in a bustle, her surroundings were lavish....The other is from the 1880s....again, my mom. To confuse matters more? I have a folk painting, done in the late 1800s ...on wood. OF ME! ....😳🥴😬 Yeah. That!

Shoutout to those family members who are not required in the slightest to help you out yet put everything into making sure you and your siblings have a comfortable life regardless 🙏🏼You’re a blessing to those of us who would have nothing without you

"We all have different dads and we don't know who they are" yeah sounds like Mom is real responsible and this family have all the requirements to have been on the Jerry Springer show titled Who is the father.

Queen of the harpies !! Queen of the harpies!! If your a fan of the golden years of the Simpsons you will remember this from the episode where Marge and Homer go to a church sponsored wedding getaway to become one with your spouse. Hilarious. Great story by the way and great narration.
