There is nothing wrong with the front forks. Nothing wrong with the turn signals. Nothing wrong with the gas tank, seat, rear shocks or single disc brake. You were lucky to find that bike in that condition. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Leave the bike stock and be happy with it.

Are you kidding? Don't do a thing to that bike - its engineered to perfection. Leave it stock. It will become a collectible some day - sooner than you think

Great motorcycle. I owned the same year, same color. In 2014 I was hit head on. Bike was totaled. It was a sad day. I got away with no broken bones. Enjoy the ride.

WOW.....Beautiful !! I'm still looking for one. The Nighthawk and the Magna have always been favorites of mine when I was a lot younger. I"ve been through a few sport bikes over the years and enjoyed them all. I've since sold my last one and been without a steed for a little over a year. I've been looking closely at the Nighthawks, Magnas, 919s, and Versys 650. All quite different, but all in consideration. The Nighthawk is tuggin' at my heart strings though. Its been almost a year since this video was posted and I sincerely hope you didn't modify your NH. She's perfect just the way she is! Awesome bike, man!

Beauty! I have a '98 I purchased 3 years ago with just under 14,000 miles which now has over 37,000. Nighthawks are awesome bikes... just keep the fluids changed and ride!

I just bought a 1991 Red 750 Nighthawk with about 25,000 miles on it. It's in really good shape but could use paint on the faded plastic bits. The steel tank looks fine. Red is particularly susceptible to UV degradation. However, if it is wetted down, it looks great so I might just spray some clear coat on the plastic trim. This engine runs like a dream and Nighthawks are SO comfortable to ride. I rode a 1982 450 Nighthawk for about 15 years and loved it. This 750 brought back a flood of fond memories. One thing I noticed on your bike was the left side header pipe is all blued out. That would indicated a lean condition in that cylinder, perhaps from previous issues with the carbs. All four of mine look like factory. I also own the VERY rare 2017 CB1100EX "Retro Classic" which is a great bike in its own right. Performance is virtually identical BUT the CB1100 does everything in a more "Relaxed Fashion", ie 2,500 rpm at 60 mph versus about 4,300 on the Nighthawk. Part of that is the 6 speed overdrive transmission on the CB1100. Of course the Nighthawk is 90 pounds lighter which compensates for the slightly lower horsepower (75 versus 88), along with it's shorter gearing. HOWEVER, when it comes to seat comfort, the Nighthawk has it all over the CB1100, and it's nimbleness is an absolute joy. I'm so glad I picked up this 27 year old vintage machine! It's a great starting point for a full restoration.

I love the whole Harley mystique, just seeing one makes me want to buy one. I started riding in 1975. I have owned many many bikes, and ridden more. Used to go to rider rallies just to test ride bikes. I never rode a Harley back to back with another brand, any brand, any style, where I didn't think the other bike was the better bike! To be clear, the Harley always lost the comparison to the other brand, any brand.

What a fantastic find and I have to wonder if you still have it as this is a older video... About a year ago I bought a black 1991 in St Louis Missouri with only 10,000 miles on it... I have owned many motorcycles over the past 40+ years from crotch rockets to cruisers to muscle bikes and I have to say this 750 night hawk has become one of my favorites...

Reminds me of my baby. Shes a '95 i chopped the exhaust put slip ons and had to redo the seat red got plasti dip on her. Just had to replace the head cover gasket seal. She kinda runs like ish with the new slip ons but no noticable loss in power. I love this fuckin bike

I just bought the same bike. Mine is a black 1997 Nighthawk 750. It has 16k miles and I paid $2700 cash for it. I trailered it home because it needed new tires. The old ones were dry rotting. I put Bridgestone Battleax radials on it in stock size 110/80-18 front and 140/70-17 rear and changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic and used a K&N KN-303 filter. Only had it 1 week now but I am really enjoying it. It's a bit too quiet for my taste. Looking for a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 exhaust for it but if I can't find one soon I'll probalby put the Delkevic 4 into 1 system on it.

I love stock bikes. I'll change things on a bike if it's in fair but running condition, since it's already messed up...otherwise i only want stock. I have a 1991 and a like new 1995. Love the Nighthawks.

That's one of the best years. The engine is black'd out and the chrome gauges. Drum brakes last forever. I'm jealous.

I just bought a 92 night hawk it sat for 4 years i took it to get the carbs cleaned new chain an sadly new blinkers cause the original ones had got brittle an broke plus I did put Bluetooth speakers on it that is the only mod I will do to it it was my front neighbor bike an I wanted it ever since I rode it to his house when he couldn't ride it any more due to medical reasons an he finally let me have it for 900

Why is the far left exhaust pipe blue? Is it because the carburetor was too rich?

I am thinking of getting a 2003 with 9900 miles on it. One owner and in pristine condition. Do you think 2k is a fair price? The one I am getting is Red. Are they pretty good all around bikes.

You just upgraded. Don't touch it. Worst case get older Nighthawk forks. I ride an 82 750 with 42k miles.

I have a friend who owns and rides thirteen motorcycles, all street legal and registered. He can own/ride whatever he wants. His bikes range from a Yamaha XT225 to the mighty Triumph Rocket III. He owns and rides TWO 91-03 generation Nighthawk 750's. One with stock exhaust, the other with 4 into 1 Kerker exhaust. That should speak volumes. I rode from '75 to '05 ten months of the year. Then on and off until '18. I still have four bikes from 200-1100cc's. I just picked up a 2002 Nighthawk with 51,600 miles and running strong. It has GIVI hard bags and extra front lights. Will change rear shocks to a reservoir style, upgrade to an LED headlight, add a handlebar fairing, and go up one tooth on the front sprocket. No inline four buzz at the handlebars, does not excel at anything but being good at everything except off road.

Don’t listen to any of the weekend warriors telling you to keep it stock. I got a 99 750 nighthawk 20k miles chopped frame (never got around to looping haha), chopped fairings, Daytona bars, and a dual sport tire on the rear. Taking it on a 2000 mile trip next week, wouldn’t want any other bike to do it on.
