This video just made me realize sometimes you don’t have to hear someone say “I’m sorry” as long as the person knows they hurt you, you got to move on My mother grew up in different households, lost her mum at 15, married very young and had me as a teen … sometimes I’m angry she didn’t do more but then the people around her never supported her and she grew up not knowing her own worth I think it’s safe to say that after this video I get my mum better now.

This show has really triggered me!!! When I was going through a difficult time with my family and trying to discover myself to heal. I spend a lot of time studying narcissism and mental health. I learned, despite growing up in a well-off home, I grew up in a very dysfunctional family...There is something I read that stuck with me, "Adult children of narcissists carry a pervasive sense of worthlessness and toxic shame, as well as subconscious programming, which causes them to become more easily attached to predators in adulthood." My late elder sister wasn't lucky. Because of all the vile hatred, invalidation and rejection she went through at the hands on my mother and her puppets...perhaps she would have married an abusive husband; perhaps she would have had a different life if she was loved, heard and encouraged; perhaps she would still be alive.
@liznyaga3918

Sorry about what you went through, true, the things we go through as kids affect us much later in our adulthood. I'm glad you researched about that stuff and you're aware now. Have you considered seeing a therapist, it helps alot. You need to become a better person first before being able to extend love to others. I grew up in a dysfunctional home as well and I can tell you I've had to deal with alot of issues in counselling. I'm currently a student counselor and I've learnt alot of psychological issues that children have suffered from, from the families they grew up in. It's super sad but there's hope when you find help.

Other men can't hit you but the words from their mouths woyee😭😭😭 ... imagine somebody you call your husband backbiting you with your relatives, ...how do you feel? Somebody who can't accept his mistakes. He even threatened me once that he gonna mess with my job cos he is the one who let my boss hire me. Reason being, I don't give him money.😭yet I care for all the bills in the house. I really feel less of myself that I sometimes break down to easen the pain ya kudharauliwa😭😭😭😭😭😭. I'm praying that one day I will gain courage and walk out of this relationship cos I'm tired.
