(Brutally honest opinion here, others will have differing views) Over-priced, over-hyped, under-whelmed, under-cooked. The tomato slice was the size of the burger patty. Less chips, bigger burger (and a patty that's cooked) would be my advice. Didn't like the chaos on the walls. I felt that the room looked more like a doss-house. I see where they're trying to go with it, with all the secrecy... but I feel they're trying a little too hard. 6/10 (I bumped it an extra 0.5 due to the quantity of chips). On a side-note, decent art on that plate by the Frenchy! As always, thanks for the review, Leel

Spot on! The room looked like a doss-house too! They could branch out and open one of these in Blackpool or Redcar, in a bedsit. No need to add grafiti on the walls, as it'd already be there. ;)

I have been in the USA 3 times. Some cities are extremely expensive and some are so cheap and quality wise so good, you really start to wonder. I had a great meal in Savannah for 10 bucks, and almost the same meal in a small town in Louisiana for 25 bucks. New York of course is one of those e x t r e m e l y expensive cities one should probably avoid for food and lodging. Like Madrid, Barcelona, London, Paris or München to name a few extremely expensive cities.

There's a lot of people out there who would kill to have a burger cooked pink in the middle like that. Most burger places in the US won't cook them like that though, they are afraid of getting sued if someone gets sick.

Burger looked great, will definitely grab one when I do eventually go to NY. Again great editing, loved the voice overlays in the B roll, especially Ferris Bueller, love that film. Meat has been minced exposed to blades theres air pockets now in the burger also.there for because the middle isn't cooked through its a bacterial paradise...mince patties you can not treat like a steak that has only been exposed to blades on the surface which is sealed. Fun fact.

TBH beef mince should always be fully cooked (unlike steak) as you can catch food poisoning that way and it did look a bit rare. I'd have insisted it was fully cooked.

Compared to all the other burgers in the US that you have shown us it was a definite 10, The Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side does top burgers and also have a garden to use, worth a look.

That looks like a solid example of a good cheesy burger with a nicely toasted bun, and as you say, plenty of good lettuce. A solid 8/10 based on looks, love a nice medium rare cook, raised to a 9 because of the huge pile of fries you got! The decor was probably the most impressive part, really cool.

Having never been there I love that kind of place where they let people leave their mark, to me that’s very sentimental. I love a good burger, it looked fantastic. Not too over done, bit of pink but still cooked. Plenty of fries, I think that’s a good thing, you have the decision to fill until you pop or leave some. The price is about the same as decent burger places here I’m going to give it a 10, I’d love to go and sample there. My wife made us some last week, just Mince beef, garlic and onion powder, salt, and pepper….. Cooked on the bbq They were unreal 😋😋

Tbh the burger looked awesome ( love medium rare ) and a good portion of fries ……..BUT $25 ! That’s five McD’s 😂 when we were in Manhattan 13 years ago , Rosie’s off Times Square in a small shopping precinct was excellent for burgers , probably not there now lol , great blog Lee 👍🏻

Probably the best two CheeseBurgs I have ever had came from there. I had to have two as I finished the first one and was in absolute wonder, so needed another one just to make sure the second was as good as the first and to also accompany the remainder of the fries!!!

when out of the UK I love to get my burger medium rare, in Germany you can get served raw pork and Japan raw chicken, although I wouldn't eat it as doesn't sound appetising, funny what some will eat and others won't, great video bud👍

This is the place I recommended to you last year when you came to NYC to meet Martin. Went in 2016 on my last trip to NYC. Just remember it being very very sloppy.

I see a lot of people complaining about the price & yes it is expensive I get that but I didn't think it was overly expensive compared to all the other places you have shown us in the US. I'm afraid that's the reality of shutting down the worlds economies & corrupt politicians & central bankers printing our currencies into oblivion.
