This place is an absolute jaw-dropper of a new york city apartment. Its got views, amenities, and its affordable (compared to Manhattan and Brooklyn). If you were apartment hunting in NYC and you saw this, would you live here?

This is probably the best part of the Bronx there is. There are many multi-million dollar mansions in that area that can only be found in this neighborhood and a few others in all of the city, so it does attract people with money. It is insulated somewhat because of the train vs. subway service, and that probably makes the area less "bad" too

When I lived in NY the first time ‘99 - ‘02, I lived in Riverdale, right down the block from where this building is now. It’s a great area! One thing that wasn’t pointed out is that if you go out onto the balcony (facing the water), and look down, you see the metro north tracks. And the tracks curve around a bend, and there is a gradient…that all means that the trains use their brakes…so you need to get used to the noise! (Took me a couple weeks). At that time, my 1 bdrm, 780 sqft apartment on the 8th floor with balcony cost $1200/month!

The best part about this apartment is you’re only a 30 minute train ride from midtown on the Metro North Hudson line, so you could work in a high rise office tower right near Grand Central and then live in a quiet neighborhood with views of the river and more trees than buildings but still have a reasonable commute right into the heart of Manhattan’s densest office district

It's also quite hilarious that Cash keeps pointing out the "magnificent views of the bridge." Yes, this building is practically on top of the Henry Hudson Bridge. The traffic noise from the bridge is loud, but the noise from the traffic is nothing compared to the incredible noise created by year-after-year construction and maintenance projects on the bridge, and the clogging up of the street just steps from this building by construction vehicles, materials, porta-potties, and workers. Caveat emptor. In addition, you may want to consider your tolerance for train noise, what with Metro North passenger trains as well as freight trains passing by this building just a few yards down the hill on an extremely frequent basis. The freight trains are long, heavy, and loud, and pass by multiple times per day on those tracks.. Something Timber Equities and Cash aren't keen for you to know.

This is Spuyten Duyvil. (Dutch for 'In Spite of the Devil') It's bounded by Riverdale, Marble Hill, and Kingsbridge all of which are residential, far to the north, and a world away from the South Bronx. Would you make the same "but it's the Bronx" comment about Riverdale?

I am a very very long time resident of New York City. Thank you for showing some decent stuff especially in the Bronx. The Bronx does not get the recognition it deserves. I remember the days back in the 1970s when the South Bronx was burning to the ground and 80% of the housing stock was destroyed by fire. Thanks to rent control laws and landlords could not keep up maintenance on their pre-war old buildings.

The South Bronx is still burning, but not with fire. I was looking for an apartment in 2018 trying to run from Manhattan's high prices and I decided to stay exactly where I am. I view an apartment and two days later a group of men killed a teen with machetes. I had a nightmares. This is Riverdale the $$$ part of the Bronx.

Good afternoon Cash. Hope the family is well. Love these apartments. Are they still going to have apartments that normal wage people can afford without having to share with others or for families that don't make that type of money or is NY just looking to get rid of those people. I mean I understand that the higher the rent the least likely will get people who are going to wreck the place. And they need to stop the beautiful views to get more money because those views are supposed to be free for everyone. Have a great day.
