In all seriousness, I’m an off tank that often has to play Rein, and I’ve only ever generated ults at half the speed you did. In that one minute span, you took an important step to being dominant in the game. Sometimes you gotta stop overthinking things and go for it. If you consistently play like that and fine tune your situational awareness, you would be high gold at minimum. I’d recommend you find another tank to duo with or a dps.

@@SasquatchPJs it isn’t entirely bad for a rein to peel, just not in that situation. Peeling for over extenders in your frontline is an actual important decision to make as to whether you can help them get out, or if you’d end up feeding with them and both die. Situational

I always play flex, so I've been both the tank and the support in this situation. Imo it depends on if your a good peeler for your support. Rein probably one of the worst but if you think you can land a pin, cool. Hogg and zarya the best for sure. As a support I hate when someone is focusing me and the tanks blame me for not healing and don't notice I'm dead.

yea, his Ana had her gun deep in his ass and shoot constantly and granade on cooldown in his face. High lvl of pocketing.

I am being completely serious when I say you're more likely to get a pocket if you apologize in advance to your supports for feeding. I would hard pocket a Rein/tank who said they know they are a feeder and will need the extra help surviving. but even more seriously, if a Rein even turns around for a second to keep an eye on me as a support or even shields a Rez or keeps the shield up to let me cross safely (granny is a sniper but she is still a granny), I pledge them my undying loyalty. TLDR the best way to get what you need from your team is to be nice, ask politely for what you need, and give them resources to do their job better/more safely when you can because they will 99% of the time be doing their best to give you all of their resources so you can do your job. and also, it helps to understand the times when you might not get a certain resource. (this is not a TLDR, I recognize that lol) for example, nano Rein is a great use of nano. it's my default when I have a Rein. but you can't always assume you will get it every time. in a recent decision making video, where ml7 goes over a vod of his and explains his decision-making, he talks about how he intentionally chose to nano his pharah instead of his Rein or Zarya or other dps. I have personally been nanoed as Mercy more than once when it was intentional because I was going for a risky rez on a tank or Hanzo ulted the wall I was using as cover and my Ana decided her Mercy's survival was worth the investment of nano. this is one reason I'm now a huge believer in watching vod reviews for roles and heroes you don't play. sometimes the advice is general enough to apply to anyone and even if it doesn't directly apply, you get a better idea of what another role needs to do and it will help you have a better idea of how to help them do their job. so if you watched some Ana vod reviews, you (I mean this as a general "you") get an understanding of the situations when you might not get nanoed. this is just an example. and I feel like its best to approach the game with the understanding that you are playing with actual people, and being a polite person who communicates their needs and desires will get you much more of what you want and need than anything else
