early phoenix with upgraded attack actually slaps against zerg! I believe it was partinG who did it, you just go overlord hunting and supply block them to death.

@@catbert7 you dont 'NEED' it, but it rapidly speeds up the rate of overlord death. Attack upgrades are really good on phoenixes since they shoot twice with each attack.

This is working so well that I authentically wonder if it's optimal to sometimes go third nexus before warp gate at the highest level of play. This is wild and it might be the "anti-timing" advantage that's making it look so strong, but having quick eco with that many units actually seems ridiculous and I want to see how it would do in pro matches.

I’ve been doing this types of builds actually , with barracks tho and just spamming out marines… it’s like once you trap your opponent in on their first base you can do anything take 3 bases why not

Best series. If you're going to pressure that early with stalkers, would a forward battery help get your count to 12, while keeping up the pressure? Or is it too expensive?

Marc, I feel like you have been experimenting with gateway strats a lot, but haven't done anything crazy like..dbl Stargate proxy or mass robo units, or protoss mech aka voidray immortal. Loving the games so far though.

I only played Zerg for a couple months 15 years ago, but I've been watching Hastem for a couple years now and never heard of the Warpgate. I'm a bit confused now of why is it such a big deal somehow XD

The idea behind it is that the opponent doesn't expect that(Since almost all Protoss use Warp Gate) meaning they likely won't have air units. Once they see it they will be busy trying to not die from 1500 Zealots, Adepts, Stalkers and Dark Templars since the flower formation should be used if the enemy isn't going mass air units(BattleCruisers, Banshees, Carriers, Broodlords ans etc.). I don't think the enemy will have enough time to make a sizable amount of flying units to kill the Artosis pylon.
