Something tells me that the person who put the kittens in the box and left them there must have known about you and what you're doing, and that you probably would find them and bring them to the rented appartment. But it is a risk when you take them directly into the same room as all the other kittens immediately after finding them on the streets : You don't know if they have any contagious diseases, and they probably has fleas, too. The kittens you have lost recently (Stella and Natasha) maybe had something contagious that made them sick, and that could infect the other cats and kittens. I know that you do your best, but you should keep new kittens separated from the other kittens until you have given them a flea bath and made sure that they don't have any contagious diseases. But this is a lot of work for you alone, I know that. And you do your best. Keep up the good work, Robin! 💖🐾

Robin please listen to what some of people in your comments are suggesting: bring less cats in the apartment and separate kittens from adults. It'll reduce the chance of them getting infected and adult cags won't hurt the kittens. Please listen, we want to help you to avoid more deaths.

Good thing you found them. Though those poor babies were terrified, could be the reason why they did not want to eat. The best thing would be to let them be and perhaps give them a little hiding spot they can go to like the box so they can get comfortable in the new environment you've brought them in. Definitely socialize so they get use to you but don't force them.
