I THINK I KNOW!!! i was scrolling through reddit and found someone questioning if we also saw letters in that one picture of josh at the end of vignette mv.... i can't identify all of the letters yet, but the reason i think there's something hidden there is because not only did tyler tell us right after, in the livestream, something in the lines of "don't pause and try to find the blemish", he also posted the picture on twitter. he's daring us to try to make something of it. I'll leave the comment that inspired me in the replies

someone might have already mentioned this, but i was just rewatching the I Am Clancy video, and when he's narrating through all music videos, he says (during the Jumpsuit section) "but this Drag Path was different. i saw them, they watched me-the Banditos."

At the end of Vigentte, there are birds chriping just like in paladin strait. Tyler is also dragging a path in the snow during the video. I think we need to find clues in vignette

Just an update: currently there are about 50 of us who've figured out we need to put together pieces from the digital remains booklet, we have a shared canva project & are slowly connecting them all- we could be getting there!

The terms of agreement! In the digital remains there is a ‘terms of agreement’ that was submitted in the beginning from Nico/Blurryface. There is a code that says ‘still alive,’ but if you notice, the word ‘outside’ is shown and there is a space between the former and latter word…

Im just going to throw this out there, even though it may be entirely wrong. During the live stream/video drop, Tyler says before Navigating to "pay attention, we're trying to tell a story here." He also mentions how Navigating is track 9 a few different times, and him and Josh have a brief conversation about "9." Also, I feel it's a little ironic to note this immediately prior to a song literally called Navigating. I know what is explained in this video about "drag path" makes perfect sense, but it's still hard for me to not wonder if Navigating has something to do with any of this. I don't know. I'm fairly new to the whole hidden messages thing with these guys, although I have been a fan for many years, this is the first I have ever really gotten into trying to decode like this. But now I'm really trying because Paladin Strait is my favorite song of Clancy and I'm so excited for the video!

The lyrics of drag path make me think of vinyl records. If you know anything about vinyl you might know about secret tracks and double grooves. It may be time to start looking at those records harder.

I googled what a Drag Path is to see if it sparked anything and "Path Drag" came up. It's some equation or formula- "The sum of the activity durations in the Critical Path is equal to the Project's Duration; therefore, a delay to any Critical Activity will result in a delay to the Project Completion Date. Late Finish (LF): Latest date that the activity can finish without causing a delay to the project completion date." Hmmmmm.....

the paladin strait is on the map in the intro to overcompensate. the birds in the bridge of paladin straight sound the same to the birds in the intro of level of concern. the level of concern vid is gone and replaced with a photo with faint drag marks across it. that's all I got.

‘Surveillance is outside’ made me think of Stressed “Out” which lead me to the lines “Wish we could turn back time, to the good old days” which make me think of ‘Oldies Station’ which is the track Tyler really likes, right?! In which the camera was being dragged along a path. Might be nothing, but might help.

In the I am Clancy video; he talks about being on a dragged path. And that he has escaped more than once, but that he is always captured. Which also fuels that paladin straight is told from the prospective of captivity. (That he "would" swim that paladin straight. And that Nico is entering the room that he is being held in.) Just thinking out loud here.

this video made me go slightly crazy and i went and listened to all the bird noises. in paladin strait there is one bird that is chirping a few times and then takes a break. it has the pattern: 272312312723123 you can see repeating numbers (27)(231)(231)(27)(231)(23 there might be another chirp at the end but at that point the ukulele is too loud to hear anything. in the music video for the craving (single version) there are also birds. the have the pattern: (231)(231) suspiciously the same as in paladin strait? now this might be some big clue or they just used the same bird sounds in both videos. vignette has different birds (i already tried the numbers on the demaorg website and as a url of a youtube video. both sadly lead to nothing)

When you said the drag path, it could be linked to the Vignette music video. In it Tyler drags his feet the whole time to form a picture of Josh Dun. Maybe we missed something there. As well as that, it would make more sense in the organisation of the ARG as Vignette is part of the Clancy era, whilst the other suggestions are part of the SAI era or the LOC era.

In the Vignette video he etched Josh’s face on the surface. In Oldie’s Station Josh is creating his path that leads to a downfall. What is Tyler’s prison? I rack my brain on this all day. Keep the progress coming!

During the clip in the LOC livestream with the figure in the sunset, the music to "Nico and the Niners" is playing, specifically the background piece before the rap verse (NATN timestamp: 2:22). If we look at 2:22 in the LOC livestream, there is a clip of a jellyfish followed by the vulture sound from levitate and the "East Is up"/SAI/pitchfork logo. Conveniently, this clip is played again in the LOC livestream video around 6:18 and 6:25 which, if you have been following, are numbers that have been appearing over and over. 6/18 is Josh's birthday and the date of the first Clancy letter while 6/25 is a date that has been cryptically appearing repeatedly. Also, in the NATN MV, at 0:48 is a clock which appears to be displaying the time 6:18

EVERYONE I HAVE IDEAS. To support your argument: 1. Why is Clancy the only person who can be controlled by the bishops while he's alive? Because there is one inside of him. The only reason Blurryface can take control is because he's in Tyler's mind. 2. Vessel is sort of canon. Blurryface makes references. Then Trench starts with the heavy lore. SAI is a backslide, when Clancy is captured. As Tyler said, Clancy is the time when they lay everything out in the open. Do you see it? Clancy is fighting Blurryface and winning. Clancy is the clear one, the one who's out in the open. Blurryface is deceptive. As the story progresses, Clancy (and Tyler) learns to express the story (and Tyler to express his mental health/feelings) in a clear way without the mask. Then why the secrecy surrounding Paladin Strait? Because it's the final confrontation with Blurryface. Nico is facing Clancy, and in his last surge, he's making Tyler cryptic and mysterious. What do you all think?

Crazy stuff and I enjoy following all the connections and theories. As a very elementary observation on a song I don't hear a lot about, "Redecorate," the lyric video they post is very interesting and it's the last song on SAI. Also, the font/style of the word "redecorate" in the video looks very much like Clancy's collar or rope or whatever that the actual term for that accessory is.

Drag path is referenced in the I AM CLANCY video.

a fun fact not related to the music video but indeed related to paladin strait is that the beginning of no chances with the synths and stuff that builds into the bishops's "chant" (we come for you no chances) actually is timed perfect with the ending of paladin strait like if you play no chances and right away the ending of paladin strait, the "so few, so proud, so.. emotional. hello clancy" it's timed perfectly and i think it's interesting even if it's most likely just a coincidence

Maybe it's just the light, but every time I look at the placeholder it looks like something is written there in big pink letters. It's just that the writing is almost invisible and it's hard to even understand where to start. I don't know, just something about the lighter parts of the rocks looks weird to me. I'm probably wrong, maybe I just looked at the placeholder TOO MUCH, but maybe we should look at the existing video more

Interesting theory on the digging your heels bit... My mind instead went to the music video for Vignette, as that has Tyler dragging his feet and heels, etching a picture in the snow of Josh Dun. How does that connect to finding the music video for Paladin Strait? Your guess is as good as mine!

I feel like no one really looked into the Digital Remains the way that they intended. Everyone just thought it was some sort of gift, but as you mention, the timeline makes sense for it to be the answer. If you look towards the end we see Clancy's bag with his map and some rope. The next slide is the Ultimus Capitus one, where we see the Ned horns tied with rope. The following slide (120) is seemingly meaningless. But it cant be. Someone better with computers and imagery, check that out please!

So I think the image of Josh’s Run posted on the instagram stories is the first clue. Sure it might signal a double album on the 25…. But I could also be a geocaching path that gives us a website url. I’m not sure what app was used or even if it’s possible to find someone’s geocache path. It is a Nike app and beyond that I don’t know.

i definitely believe drag path is genuinely a scrapped song that didnt make it to the album, i know Tyler is very meticulous with the things he does, but in this instance i believe he wanted to just post his genuine first draft of songs and let us get a peak of behind the screen for a moment

I went back to the minute of birds in PS place holder video. You can hear clicking in the background if you listen really really closely. I dont know if it means anything or what to make of it, but its there.

On Josh's forehead at the end of Vignette, I see SSJVEL, SSJUEL, SSJVEEL, or SSJVEET. It could also be SS VEEL (VESSEL).

At the end of Vignette I’m pretty sure I see HEELS written in Josh’s hair and to the left there are “drag paths” and what looks like an arrow pointing to the left. Maybe the SAI symbol to the left of “heels”

Oh yeah so I (and some other people) may have found prove of more songs. In the digital remains on oldies station. There is a faint words written behind it. We looked really closely and adjusted the brightness on the photo and have found a song name graffiti and we're making out some lyrics. There was some more behind other songs but MUCH harder to make out

In the Vignette MV Tyler drags his feet while reading a red letter to trace what in the end we discover to be Josh's siluette... Unfortunately, as a TOP fan from Europe I can't access the digital remains pdf, but maybe there are some red letters there that contain the code??

When you really think about how tyler has created so many puzzles and clues and ways of telling this story is actually insanely creative genius. You can tell he riffs off of fans ideas too, which is great too.

"I dig my hole to die" from Level of Concern could be reference to Hole in the Ground from No Phun Intended. This song has a lot of references to flying, which could be relating to Isle of Flightless Birds, one of the songs performed in the small shows. Also, the title "Hole in the Ground" is referring to a grave. Clancy is dead, anyone? Maybe the prison were Clancy's drag path is leading to is a grave. Another connection from that Level of Concern verse is the fact that we're starting to doubt Tyler. DOUBT. That is the very first song that references the bishops. Maybe something is in there. Just some thoughts.

Also…there are bird sounds at the ending of The Craving (singles version). Something tells me, we should also look there, since we’re craving for the video 😅. Besides that I’ve found it weird from the start that they would put a single out that is a different version than on the album. You have to actively look it up on YT or any other streaming services to hear or see it. I’ve looked at it a dozen times yesterday, but I don’t know what I’m looking for…😂
