Just wanted to say thanks to Speg and Guy for getting these coins and tokens to the kids. They were collected from my 20 year USN career. I'm glad they will get some use. I think it awesome to get kids into coins. I always had coins since I was a kid. I wasn't even that big into coins as kid. But I still have all my old coins. And I really love them now a days. I'm 30 now

Thank you both for all you do for this community. If you make a SPEG & GUY round please make it 2 oz. I have found a lot of old pennies, silver dimes and quarters gold and silver rings sterling pieces. tokens and much more metal detecting. It is a great hobby and a fun way to get exercise and meet people and treasure hunt.

I was stationed in Scotland for four years and they are simply referred to as Highland cattle. They are primarily beef cattle. They are shaggy and on occasion, they do not mind being pet or scratched.

i am part gypsy and i grew up in a Hungarian neighborhood= all of my friends were thieves- i did not steal, i refused to because i think it is a sin..most of them quit doing it ,as far as i know, when they got older, but as a part gypsy, the reputation is deserved and is not bigotted to think so.

@SpegTacular 2:38 I'm swiss. The 2 swiss francs now it's a bit more than 2 US-Dollar worth. If it's one till 1967 it's 835 silver. 1968 till now it's copper-nickel. Btw: I would take it. ;-)

the star indicates on a proof coin that it is close to a cameo on one of the sides. also, it can mean excellent eye appeal on toned or very blast white coins. CAC is is different. it indicates the coin is better quality than other coins in the same grade.

Ive never been to a coin show but the theft is a big issue. For one if I was there as a seller, I’d have one piece out at a time to be checked out and a spiral stretchy elastic band attached to it, connecting every piece by an O-ring. Or perhaps a command strip for graded pieces. But always use the one piece out at a time rule, and watch that item like hawk.

I always tell people "you have treasure in your pockets, is just made of copper". Show them a few videos or the PCGS app and it blows their minds to see the value of some coins. Then I mention that the probability they haven't had a coin that could be worth an exceptional amount above face value in their position and spent it at face value is extremely low. We go through so much change in a decade let alone an entire lifetime. There's only somewhere between a 10%- 20% chance you haven't had a valuable coin in your possession and were completely oblivious. I bring my bank ladies coffee and donuts to sweeten them up to my ridiculous change requests. I've also given them each a buffalo nickel that I had an exceptional amount of extras. I put them in little slabs that I had bought wholesale and they were elated. Most of the tellers had never seen one. I also rewap the coins for them and close the coin tube with a sticker that says searched and they love me. They save anything that looks odd or interesting to the side for me to look through. I love hunting coin rolls.

That knife is cool and very illegal here in IL. They do not allow automatic blade knives of any size and folding knifes have to be less then 3 inches in length.
