I can recommend for a beginner to simply buy a roll of legit regular morgans from the most reputable dealer you can find. Then spend a lot of time looking at them and you will after barely a few weeks be able to properly identify genuine morgans from fakes and will also be able to pretty much tell immediately if a coin is indeed silver. It won't help you in terms of recognizing counterfeits of the really rare stuff that ARE made out of silver and are struck using proper dies taken from top grade genuine coins, but in that situation you should probably not be trying to buy rare coins over the internet other than properly graded stuff and ideally from the top auction houses like HA. Once you know what you are doing then you can look for all these things in the wild but it take a lot of time to properly recognize any given series.

If everyone starts buying cheap gold and silver from Costco’s Coin Guy and small businesses like him will suffer. Same mistake all Americans make . We have been brainwashed to look for a sale, the cheapest we can find. When we do that the people making the products their quality of life goes down. Love your videos but there is no difference in mass or size from .999 and .9999 pure. That 1/10000 % is filled with something else. Gold buffalos are also .9999 and look much bigger. The smaller diameter and thicker maple is why you feel it’s more dense. But like I said big fan!

Sorry but most don't have the wealth and resources to buy in quantities like that. You can find deals anywhere when buying quantities. The truck would be finding lower premiums when buying single 1oz silver or 1 to 5 grams gold.

Does costco divvy this up by state? I've not seen ASE's or gold ML's.
