Or maybe they just made King Shark able to use the ring once to get rid of the shield because they weren't creative enough. We can sit here and speculate all day. The point here is that they could have come up with something that makes sense and doesn't require any speculation. And I know about the playstyles, the point I was trying to make was that they should have limited the guns to only Deadshot and let other heroes have different weapons. Everybody having guns means you only have different varieties of ranged combat. Hope this clears that up.

Speculation is fun, not everything needs to be spoon fed. Plus it's Comic Books and Video games where a man in a bat suit can physically beat a 6-ton crocodile man, it doesn't always have to be logical or make sense. They could have, but it evens the playing field from a design standpoint. It also makes exchanging weapons between current and future characters much easier. Plus I highly doubt it would be that much more fun and people are hung up on the concept of it. There are helicopters and teleporting snipers in this game. How much of a pain would it be to have to swap every time those pop up cause your melee character has no way to interact with them?@@The_JamesV
