In every instance you should just spend the extra $20 and get an ender 3 v3 instead. It has everything this printer has but also has a Bigger print volume, auto bed leveling, dual z lead screws, spool holder, more intuative interface, spare parts are easily obtainable if something breaks, made by a well known 3d printing manufacturer, and has preset profiles in all slicers.

The v3 is a great machine but it’s $109 more. You can get the Kingroon for $117.99, most parts are universal if you’ve been around 3D printing however & I guarantee machines of this style will have growing popularity now with the new bambu out. So not to discredit your opinion, it’s a nice machine but beyond the larger build plate & auto leveling (dual z isn’t really need for a 180 build)the price meets the features & to someone just getting into 3D printing under $120 for a printer is enticing.

I've had this printer since november last year (bought it for the reason you mentioned: not firing the bigger ones, either for a small piece or prototypes) and love it! The first thing I did when I got it was get a spring steel sheet and printed a better air duct for both sides of the nozzle, but the biggest "but" for me was the screen and marlin version the board has (the screen is plain an simple trash, like most MKS ones, but this one being THAT small makes it even worse, and the printer would start to go reeeeaaaally slow if I went above 80mm/s), then I installed klipper on it to print faster and it's just awesome. Now I'm printing some mods to add linear rails to Z axis and change the toolhead (not a big fan of the titan extruder, it's only one gear and after some time the path for the filament under the gear starts to twist/bend, so some times I struggle to push new filament in; oh, and the heatbreak is lined so I really can't print PETG or ABS with peace of mind)

It really is a decent little printer but I do agree with the screen. I feel if the buildplate was bigger and dual z they could definitely compete against some of the other companies. I’ll look into some mods myself. Great to hear others success with this little work horse

@@Darkwingdad There actually is a bigger version, the pro, I think it's 220x220 or something like that, but that one is still cantilevered so I don't think it's as good as this one; and they actually they have their own version to compete with the Creality K1 and the Bambulab's

I want to know how it prints after 3 months of use. When it's new it'll print fine but after wear and tear things from temu fall apart.

Temu just sells them it’s not like they assemble or manufacture them. Kingroon is a reputable company, 2 months in & 30 or so prints in & no issues

@@Darkwingdad just fpv parts like a 2.5 inch to 5 inch drones the parts aren't that big. Like tpu feet or antenna mounts
