if Fergie was still manager at United, Cleverley would have still been a United player with at least a couple more league medals on his CV. He had excellent loan spells at Watford in the championship and then at Wigan in PL and was deservedly in the United first team under Fergie for his last two seasons. Played most games in that 12/13 title winning season. Agreed he did not have the best year under Moyes, but who did ? He was criticized way more than he deserved and that got him sold.

I remember that injury, Kevin Davies knew exactly what he was doing kicking out at him. It's a real shame and I feel for the guy because he must have been on cloud 9 before that inujry, but he also had so much pressure from the media who at the time were constantly trying to compare him to Paul Scholes, which I think was too much of a burden for him to handle mentally. Good on him though for still giving the game a real crack and trying to make a decent career for himself.
