Hi Johanna, I sew in my living room so I don't have much space. But I have a lovely Horne sewing machine cabinet that folds away (sometimes) and a folding table from IKEA. And a Bernina Record 930 machine, a little older than yours. I bought it new in 1985 and I love it dearly. I repurposed my Billy bookshelves to hold my sewing and knitting books and Knoppe drawers and my filing cabinet holds my cross stitch projects and lots of interfacing and some fabric. I have been busy with some cheap white cotton jersey knit, making practise tee shirts. I'm glad I did because I've learned a lot and put all your tips to good use. Now I can start making the gorgeous expensive stuff with a lot more confidence. My 930 stitches them beautifully, especially the twin needle hemming. I'm using wonder tape and spray starch to control the hems and the curling edges. All is good! Thank you for all your helpful videos. You feel like a sewing friend even though I don't know you. I wish you very well with your business and your new life. 😘💕

So happy to see you’re back! IKEA is just the best for functional and relatively inexpensive sewing room pieces. You might consider a Raskog rolling cart. It’s been a game changer for me.

I wondered if Sweden is the same in that if you lived in a smaller place the cost for larger space would be less? ie having a house with some room to develop a separate "sewing cottage" versus a smaller apartment and renting space in a larger urban centre? Now that you aren't in your old job, you really are quite free to live ANYWHERE :) Just a thought for your future. I wish you all the best in your ongoing sewing ventures.
