I love Neace's questions. Instead of taking a statement at face value, he asks for the thought process behind it - which is arguably more important than the conclusion itself. Thinking critically about the game is the only way to reliably climb and adapt. Great vid.
@romeocopiedme
@romeocopiedme 2 жыл бұрын
the problem with this is the fact that most of the people neace coaches THINK they have thought critically and have reached conclusions in their head that dont make sense. Thats why Neace has people not question him and just DO in the moment. Most people cant take in all the information at once and he explains his reasonings in the breakdowns afterward.
@architectsxiii5379

Critical thinking is huge, anytime you go to college, most professors will tell you this. And they will also tell you that even though we know critical thinking, we do not. I thought I did my first few semesters, but once we got further in, now I realize how wrong I was. Critical thinking makes you solve your issues so much faster and more efficiently.

Really loving these "coach gets coached" segments. Obviously they improve NEACE's game knowledge but I find that I also learn some interesting tricks on champions I've maybe played from time to time but don't really "know." I've experienced that R+E interaction on a few occasions but I didn't realize it could be consistently replicated or how it worked.

I am learning so much through your videos. It's like an AI consuming information to use it later on though. I had a Soraka support today who did 0 damage (like actually - you can go back and look at the stats, she did literally "0" damage) and Q'ed me instead of enemies in Bronze I. In the same game a Nasus opened mid (admittedly in chat) at 5 minutes and inted 15 deaths within the same amount of minutes. I'm not good enough to carry two trolls in one game, alas, and even though I have a 70% WR on Ashe I just can't seem to climb. Someday I hope to be able to!I Would love to see a Kai'sa/Ashe/Irelia coaching guide from you and your teaching partner since those are my mains and I am selfish in asking, haha. Thanks for this, I learned a lot of new things about a champion I've never played or knew about.

So the idea is "close in on them with your own feet". Use the build's movement speed to close on opponents instead of abilities, then use your abilities to counter their mobility dodging/escaping. That is very smart. You just gotta be prepared mentally to any CCs the opponent can use against you and you're golden.
