HVAC guy here. Yo for the AC problem… close all the vents in your basement. can close off some areas of your middle floor if you’d like too. It’ll force more of the air through the vents so it can reach your upstairs floor. It’ll still stay cool in your basement. But that’ll help a lot.

But man, I drove down by Fort Myers Beach and other coastal towns and it’s like an atomic bomb went off. So many have lost everything and where they lived didn’t require flood insurance. No one expected 15’ surge. And now their insurance companies are not going to cover. So many won’t be able to rebuild
