Would you recommend this for a new rider who wants to be able to hit the roads and also hit some trails.. nothin technical... I've been looking at the drz400 (obviously), the KTM 500/husk501 Also I've been interested in the Honda xr650l... I recently watched a vid of yours absolutely having a blast on that thing and it sounded awesome.,.. I'm sure there were a lot of mods done to it... Idk if BODY size and weight would matter with any of these bikes with me being 6'2 245-250.. I have just always loved the look at those 701 with mean looking tires on it... It looks cool on the supermoto conversion as well.. Thanks your your input if you happen to have any

As someone who has a longer inseam, I can tell you the seated position on the xr650l is quite cramped. It has the strangest ergonomics of any bike I've ever owned (I no longer do): you need the inseam of an NBA player to get on it, the inseam of a jockey to be comfortable once you mount it, and the handle bars are down at your knees.
