11 years since my dad's gone, it still gets me every now and then but the sentiment "grief is like the ocean" is incredibly true. But its true, we're here then we're gone, as long as we can say at the end of it we are happy with what we've done, thats all that matters.

Cows are wonderful, gentle creatures with a wide emotional range. They get v attached to their owners and can understand certain words like dogs.

For what it's worth Russell, you comedy has helped raised my spirits in many cases where I needed it, and even if it weren't in needed times, laughter is still always valuable... what you do matters, more than that what you do is recorded and will be watched again in the future, even after you are dead and gone you will still be making a positive impact on the world... ... Take Robin Williams for example, he was fucking hilarious I still love watching his interviews, or specials, or movies and they always make me laugh so fuckin hard, or in the case of some of his movies make me feel love, admiration, inspiration, sadness, even depression... ... he has been gone for 9 years now and you can be damned sure that his recorded legacy is still making a damned positive impact, what he did matters and will continue to matter so long as we are able to maintain those records and don't blow ourselves to the stone age... your legacy may not be as wide ranging or as widely impactful, but it will impact millions and dare I say Billions of people to come.

I lost my dad nearly a year ago. Enjoy your family and cherish those moments. I wish i had cherished time with him more!x

Cows have a lot of emotions. All the cows I've tended to have had best friends growing up and have been incredibly concerned for their calves when they were out of sight.

Dear Russ- I’ve been a massive fan since the days you appeared on Mock The Week. I love your comedy it reminds me of me n my brother growing up. At the age of 34 I got Covid-19 in March 2020. I was in a medically induced coma and was on life support and on mechanical ventilator basically being kept alive for 3 months and my lungs never recovered. I need oxygen 24/7 and different breathing machines also it’s left me in chronic pain and in a wheelchair because I cannot walk as my lungs sats drop dangerously low . On the daily I go through so many different emotions. Happy sad angry depressed, and more. My mum died 10 years ago and my dad is not in my life, what your dad said really resonated with me. Also massive respect to your wife who I know from your other videos worked hard during covid saving lives ❤ I don’t know if every day will be my last, i have permanent fibrosis of my lungs, the covid affected my heart the scar from the tracheotomy has tethered to my neck ligaments creating throat issues. I have interstatial lung failure. I was given 2 years to live 3 years ago. I have 3 kids and I do think about death as I’d be leaving them with no family 😢 Thankyou so much for cheering me up for so many years xx Hoping to finally come to one of your shows soon health permitting. I came downstairs for a drink at 3am and noticed the living room light is on. I go in and my mother is on the sofa giggling wildly, half-wearing her dressing gown. She'd woken up and couldn't get back to sleep so she pulled on dressing gown and went downstairs and hula hoop on the Wii fit. Not sure of that logic Got sweaty, threw off dressing gown and a few minutes later realised she is a grown woman, hula hooping on a game console in the wee hours, completely naked. Took her a while to tell me why she was shaking with laughter.

Hi Russ, first off I am a big fan of yours not to the extend of being a stalker lol, anyway being scared of dying is natural but how I see it is death is going to happen whether we want it to or not, gandalf once said " death is but another path one we must all take" my point is death is inevitable it is going to happen I think of death quite often the family and friends that have died sorry I am just babbling, what I am trying to say is death is going to happen so enjoy this time we have as death is eternal once it happens it happens. Keep up the fine work you do to make people laugh and smile look forward to future content take it easy.
