It's now possible to inject Gen 3 events, a guy named Goppier got their hands on the Aurora ticket distribution ROM and modded it to make one for every event, including the Wish eggs.

This video reminds me of the old cloning glitch in crystal where if you turn off your game boy while it’s saving it will sometimes clone the Pokémon. I remember some shady kids at a baseball park told me that, and I was so scared to try it. But when it worked, it blew my mind.

This is pretty amazing to watch! I only ever knew the cloning glitch and used it lots for Emerald, but never wanted to do anymore glitches out of fear of messing up my only Pokémon game at the time, but being a lot older and more careful, I could look more into this in the future and see about doing something like this. But for now, I'll just wait until you clone your Chansey and ask about getting one when you get the chance 😂 Awesome job!

What a nice work 👍congrats. Last time I try to learn glitzer popping to get Eon ticket, and double corrupt the in-game trade Seedot to Deoxys. It worked, but since the Seedot is type 7, which makes his Growth data decrypted as Miscellaneous data, and the Obedience bit is not controllable, so the "not fateful encounter" Deoxys is wild as f. I guess next time I can catch a specific corrupt type pokemon to do this, like you use 128 feel to make Miscellaneous's highest bit stays on 1 and keep the Special 5,6 slot clean.

Enjoyed the video (and your other content)! I was recently playing around with GPopping, and you can actually count how far you scroll up (scrolling up once into outside data starts at box 2 slot 24, other scrolls go toward box 1 until you get to our data). So you only need to scroll up around 12 times -at least for the first double corrupt - and that way avoid corrupting other data.

When you RNG set your Ruby SID so that the hatched Chansey would be shiny, how did you know anything about the parents/held/pickup advances like you normally would for an egg?

Last week I hatched my Shiny Adamant Bagon (31/31/31/2/31/23) in pokemon emerald using your pokémon 3rd gen rng videos, I can’t believe it worked! This is amazing. When I was a kid, in Gold version I don't know how, but I mistakenly corrupted a Pokémon that turned into a Hitmontop. It was the only way I ever got a Hitmontop. I think I was trying out the cloning glitch. Also, the corrupted Pokémon had OT IAN instead of my actual OT BRIAN. Neat glitches in all of these older gen games.

Weirdly enough I did nothing to my Dusclops from XD, but PKhex counts it as illegal. No clue why. So I just ignored that and continued with the ribbon master journey on my Dusclops.

You could always use the cloning glitch in Emerald to transfer as many as you want just so its available in as many generations as possible. I'll gladly take one off of your hands as long as its up to Gen 7 since I don't have Home. ;)

I remember I did a less than legal Chansey glitch using the gen 4 ditto glitch and I got it into US never tried to get it into home but I might actually work. I am shocked how weak pokemon's cheat check is.

Blisy, I did almost everything on this video to get my own Wish Chansey and I want to complement something. In the last TID corruption, you said that the move should be on slot 2 or 4 to be preserved. But for me, it was different: slot 2 was glitching the move, so I needed to put Wish on slot 1 to not glitch it. If makes any difference, I didn't made normal corruption, I did ACE assisted corruption of box 9 slot 27. Or maybe the reason is that it varies depending on the TID/SID. Anyway, I just wanted to share this info

Oh, so that's what the invisible bad egg is useful for. For glitzer-popping an obedient mew, I followed a guide that said it was optional and useful, but never explained itself. Neat!

Truly amazing, both in content and in video execution! If you’re interested, you could attempt to get in Gen 3 a flawless IV Linoone that knows Extremespeed. The only way to get it is with a hundred deposits in Pokémon Box, but if you can replicate an event Chansey, this seems right up your alley! Linoone is my favorite Pokémon and I’d love to have a belly drumming Fast Ferret! If there’s a way to keep it a Zigzagoon then migrate and evolve it into a Gluttony Linoone, even better!

I can confirm that Box Zigzagoon does have a chance to have Gluttony after evolving in Gen 4 onwards, I have performed this myself, even had Adamant nature (but not great IVs)

There’s multiple ways to get the Pokémon you need. The way I did it, technically PID was all that mattered. So, there’s method 1,2,4, Channel and Egg for this PID. Since this PIDs corruption type lets you edit IVs via EVs and contest stats, you could probably do a single PID corrupt into egg hatch to clear all the contest values, edit the ivs, and then recorrupt it as a double corrupt. Then you’d have to teach Wish via the sketch glitch or if you did natu the entire time you could keep it natu through the IV editing and then do a double corrupt how I did but exclusively for species swapping. So, yeah, technically you could maybe channel or colo would be easier to get this pid, but the natu was such a short wait it wasn’t a big deal. For egg, idk, there’s no real way to search for a specific pid right now.

i think that wish blissy is from the actual pokemon center that you could visit in nyc at the time.I think you could go there and connect you gba to a station and you can get free chansey, correct me if im wrong.

Okay, not going to lie, I used this as a reference to glitch my own Wish Chansey on my Emerald. The corruptions got about 95% of everything right, but no matter what I did the some of the IVs would always be off by one or two numbers and, despite the Pokeblock Case being attached, never gave the Chansey Wish in the end. After hours of trying, I simply had enough, took the Chansey I ended up getting after double corrupting twice, and slightly modified the wrong IVs to the correct numbers in PKHeX. I also gave it Wish that the corruptions kept never giving it and Sweet Scent because I wanted some more authenticity behind it. I know ACE exists in Emerald and the Sketch glitch for moves, but my patience wore thin and I didn't want to delve into all of that just to fix the 5% the corruptions never gave me. Even so, other than those two issues, the corruptions got everything else correct. FireRed was its source game, fateful encounter was checked, and PKHeX, for all intents and purposes, classified it as a legal Wish Chansey once I fixed those last few issues the corruptions never gave me. It's not competitively viable at all, since its a Bashful nature with not the most optimal IVs, but I went through all of it just to say that I did it in the end...at least 95% because of those last few details the corruptions never provided. 25:23 I've also noticed you and other people putting the pokemon is a checkerboard pattern, but I thought that's wrong, since you really want a stripe pattern. The boxes are read left to right, top to bottom and we want a continuous pattern of Pokemon A, then B, then A, etc. So in your case Box 1 reads like so: Pluses, Chansey, Pluses, Chansey, Pluses, Chansey, Chansey, etc Am I missing something? Is checkerboard pattern also somehow valid?

I made a wish Chancey by using the rage glitch. I hatched a Chancey in Fire red with the nature i wanted. Then i gave it mimic with the tutor. then i moved it into Platinum and did the Rage glitch so it would get the same moves Wish Chancey was supposed to get plus Seismic Toss. My Chancey might not have the Fateful encounter check but I think everything else should be OK.

A shiny articuno from pokemon xd should be possible to get shouldn't it? You can still transfer pokemon from the gamecube all the way up to the switch to this day. I know it re-rolls the shiny odds when you transfer from the gamecube to the gen 3 games, but as far as I can recall, the legendary birds weren't shiny locked in gen 3. So it would be a 1 in 8,000 chance but shouldn't be impossible.

most emulators have a setting that allows you to make it pixel perfect, just poke around in your emulator's video settings and don't be afraid to click on anything that might help, worst case scenario, you can just undo the changes you made

I used Arbitrary Code Execution to install a hex editor onto my games save file and could in real time write machine language code that would spawn Pokemon. I've got a short video on my channel of me doing it.

Are we sure that original Chansey is actually legit? It says its language of origin is Japanese but the event only took place in New York and was exclusive to US versions of the game, so a Japanese event Chansey egg should be illegal?

@@kathiravantenthf.3192 it's rng abuse, where you abuse the fact that Pokémon emerald soft resets reload the same frames you had when you save the game. (Or something like that) I believe the only way to do it, is if you had a shiny early on, which means you had an early shiny frame meaning shiny huntings easier. Also doing it on just phone, while possibly possible, wouldn't be the best choice. Most use software on computers instead of phone.

You can’t use previous generation Pokémon in official tournaments, or even on ranked online matches so this is pointless. Just use a different ‘mon.

What an unbelievable statement. First of all, not everyone only plays the most up to date meta. This chansey is useful in any gen for either Smogon metas, gen 4/5 vgc old metas, and for any battle facility or in-game use I'd want to use. Official formats are not the only ones worth playing, and on top of that, competitive is not the only reason to get a unique Pokemon.

@@imablisy if you only want to use it for in-game content, it doesn't matter. Just hack it. And Smogon uses that shitty simulator anyway. They don't hold their tournaments on cartridge and they don't even care if things are properly legal, otherwise they wouldn't let you use max IVs legendaries, which are impossible to get in Gen 3 & 4.

You can, there's a NPC on Sw/Sh which makes it possible to use older Pokémon on ranked matches, but they lose their old moves.

Yeah you're absolutely right, it's amazing how fans (pkhex) have better legal checks than gamefreak. IIRC GF got false positives when Home first released, some totally legal pokémon get flagged as ilegal.

Enjoyed the video (and your other content)! I was recently playing around with GPopping, and you can actually count how far you scroll up (scrolling up once into outside data starts at box 2 slot 24, other scrolls go toward box 1 until you get to our data). So you only need to scroll up around 12 times, and that way avoid corrupting other data.
