Thank you so much for doing this review. Honestly, struggling for 5 years sitting in at a static-non ergonomic desk/chair for 12 hours a day (inc during school), this has liberated me. Chronic sitting is one of the leading cause of acquiring health issues that causes early death. Despite even exercising 1 hour a day of moderate intensity, my back just gets extremely sore and feel that joints and body movement are stiff. Even my chiropractor's adjustments does not provide long-lasting relief. This does... and wish this "active ergonomic work setup" gets implemented more widely over time. Also, it makes you even think sharper too for anyone who gets brain fog.

@@itsmonicavillegas I work for 8-10 hours a day and need to walk more also. I was thinking of doing this set up. My job entails a ton of reading while I work. Sounds funny but is that easy to do? Not to bouncy to read and walk?

I have done it! But I noticed the step count is way off and because I’m not moving my hands that much (just typing but mostly resting the wrists on the desk) it asks me if I’m done with the workout quite a few times

Love your video! I’ve seen mixed info for how tall the front part of the treadmill is (where the display is). My standing desk has a support bar underneath that is about 5.25 inches above the floor. How tall is this one from the floor at the tallest part?
@itsmonicavillegas
@itsmonicavillegas Жыл бұрын
Thank you! From the floor to the highest part is just under 5.5 inches. Is the support bar the depth of the desk? Because you can always move the treadmill a bit back so there’s a distance between it and the support bar
@davidanderika04
@davidanderika04 Жыл бұрын
@@itsmonicavillegas thank you for checking and responding!! My desk isn’t too deep, the bar goes horizontally across (I use it as a foot rest). I ordered a treadmill today that should fit under the bar. Your video and review helped tremendously!!

So I live in an apartment that's on the third floor, do you think using this will be a good idea? I'm concerened that it'll cause disturbance.
@itsmonicavillegas
@itsmonicavillegas Жыл бұрын
It depends. I think if you’re just walking it will be okay, with running it’s usually easier to feel the difference 😅 also depends on your building specifically. We have the treadmill on the second floor of our home and you can feel it downstairs when I’m walking but nothing obnoxiously loud or even too easy to tell. I think if you have upstairs neighbors and you can hear them simply walking (no treadmill) then it might cause a disturbance but if it’s somewhat soundproofed between the different apartments then it won’t be too bad

Yes, you can run on it. I personally choose not to just because I prefer having the handles on a treadmill just in case so I use it for brisk walking, but you most definitely can increase the pace to run

A big complaint of these smaller treadmills is the quality. Have you noticed any burning plastic smell after walking a certain amount of time, smoking from the motor, the belt slipping off to the side or issues with the remote?

@itsmonicavillegas

I think it’s relatively quiet if you’re walking, if you use it to run then definitely not. We have it on the second floor and when I’m using it my husband says he can hear it on the first floor (which also makes sense since it’s all part of one house, no sound proofing between first and second floor of our home) but that it isn’t too loud

I have a microphone attached to the camera that makes things sound a bit louder (just so I don’t have to talk so loud 😅) so I’d say it’s quieter in real life but I mean you can definitely hear the treadmill, it’s not super loud but it’s not quiet
