Hey guys, this is the most recent surgery I have had about 5 months ago.
I am so insanely proud of myself and so thankful for the people I have around me.
I hope you guys enjoy, and please feel free to use this as a reminder that you can literally do, and get through anything.

Omgosh your story is a lot like mine. I have had two arthroscopic surgeries. The first the surgeon destroyed my hip. The second I had a cadaver labrum and donor tissue wrapped around my femur head where the first surgeon severely over resected it. Now I’m booked for a hip replacement. Oh and the first surgeon also missed the fact I had hip dysplasia. I also have always been sporty and have a degree in exercise sports science. I’m hoping after the replacement I can get back to all the fitness stuff I love. I’m glad you are on the other side and improving!

oh my gosh. Actually parallel to what I've been through, and it's so horrible, I am so sorry that you're going through this. I am really hoping the replacement works for you, it has changed my life (actually getting my other hip done soon!), and I hope it does the same for you 💛

Nice job documenting your 3 surgeries. Mine started off with a slip that turned into a torn labrum. Did #1 (Jan 2022) scope to repair and plasty to reshape, #2(July 2022) Scope revision with cadaver labrum. Was going great until I fell in Dec/2022 and re-tore everything including my wrist and other hip! At this point, I had to #3 THR (8/2023) Very slow recovery and I feel like my IT band is not working well. So painful. Also my LCFN was damaged so my whole thigh from knee to hip is numb. Maybe thats a good thing for pain mgt. LOL really hope this THR will heal up so I can move around again. Gained 20 pounds since 2022 form not being able to move well. Hope you are 100% by now. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Still trying to figure out ways to get well without a hip replacement but everyday takes a bit more out of me. Hope to get of this pain soon your story gave me hope. Thankyou ❤😊

@@tillyzarrella is stem cell therapy an option for maintaining the other hip?
@tillyzarrella
@tillyzarrella Жыл бұрын
Haven’t really thought about that! I think because the main issue is structural and not like an autoimmune thing, then probably not

@@tillyzarrella my understanding on the use of injecting pluripotent stem cells, cultured from your bone marrow or fat cells, into joints offers the possibilty of the stem cells differntiating into cartilaginous cells potentially “beefing” up the cartilage you have in the other hip. Just wanted to share. I look to more of your videos!

cortisone injection will only accelerate the cartilage damage. I highly recommend a PRP injection mixed with hyaluronic acid and human growth hormone for your good hip 3x over 4 weeks. that will give you plenty of time for your hip. and will slow the damage. i saw your xrays and i think if you seek out stem cells you will regrow the cartilage in your other hip.. u still have plenty joint space. great videos btw

Medical malpractice is the leading cause of preventable injury and death so always do your research check and double check what they say, some doctors can't even read an xray. you did your best btw. The reality is you might require a couple of revisions in later in life. try to use the bike or elliptical. Boxing bag is an awesome alternative. Hips can deteriorate very quickly compared to the knee joint , your degeneration of your hip was in the normal time frame of arthritis in the hip joint 2-3 years. Running will speed up the damage in your good hip and shorten the life of the hip arthroplasty. So try to be proactive with taking care of the good joint as well.

Hi, good to know you are ok. Your acetabulum / hip were initially damaged lifting weights?

I used to play a lot of field hockey, and was overall very sporty. I think they would have become damaged anyways, but the starting point was when doing hanging knee raises at the gym for me.

@@tillyzarrella yes doctors who do not do hip resurfacing will say it is not good or something else because he do not know how you need see doctor who has practice like doctor Thomas Gross from USA or De Smit from Belgium than you will see they have 98 % success during 25 years. It is my experience for years. Always ask doctor who does that surgery you has great doctor in Korea or Thailand he is American he great doctor too he does hip resurfacing just use Google. And next year it will be availed ceramic on ceramic resurfacing that I was waiting years :))))
