LLTG is perhaps my most favourite C-drama. It is just breathtaking in everything. I only realised after watching it for the second time that all along there are little clues to Ling Bu Yi and his family. Although I had picked up on a couple of things the first time I watched it, it was worth watching for a second and third time just for absolute pure entertainment value. I am not Chinese or even speak Chinese so I'm grateful to those who provide the subtitles for us to enjoy such wonderful Chinese dramas. I feel sorry for those who don't want to watch dramas like LLTG just because it has subtitles, they really don't know what they're missing.

Zisheng's advice was wasted on the Crown Prince from the beginning. he really should've taken to advicing the Emperor about how inept the Crown Prince really is, at least the Emperor was more likely to pay heed to his warnings.

Niao Niao tried to use reverse psychology on Emperor and Empress and it was back fired . Ling Bu Yi giving advice to the Crown Prince but yet again he doesn't take it 😲
