Concubine Yue has no filter saying what's on her mind. Her character is so heartwarming for everyone who is being treated unfairly. She has no problem calling on the action of the guilty. She is awesome.

You can tell that Yue Heng thinks softly towards Cheng Shaoshang. Her expression and words changed. She came there to help, not to cause chaos.

Concubine Yue is the epitome of "left no crumbs" She's an amazing female character and I wish they would write more like her and Shaosang.

I love...love....love Concubine Yue!!! It also helps that the Emperor loves her so much that she is able to say whatever she wants to say. The dynamics between the Emperor and his 2 wives in this drama was so heartwarming. I loved that they were all in sync and harmonious with each other and there were no evil intent or backstabbing between the 2 wives.

This drama is sooo engaging to watch. One of ny favorite character is the king. He's so passionate as his role as Ling Buyi's father. The story is never boring, all scenes complimented the storyline very well.

Concubine Ye always assertive but you can see her watery 👁️ when talking about Hui and his help to the King.

That Consort's face could curdle milk. General Ling is a respected General and adopted son of our Emperor but he is also feared he has shown no interest what so ever to any other woman until a chance meeting when she didn't even show her face but he knew that who ever it was in that carriage was the one he was looking for and it was cemented at the Lantern Festival once he spotted her there was no one else there it was just her. His face was stern but oh those eyes of his lit up truly smiling from his eyes and it never wained not once even 5 years which if people stepped back would know it was needed Shaoshong needed to grow up

While Consort Ruyang and General Ling are arguing, Concubine Yue arrived, and publicly, she kicked Consort Ruyang out of her seating spot. Concubine Yue said, "Aunt, you're in my seat. I ask you to give it back." It took some time for Consort Ruyang to move. Everyone was quiet even the Emperor was not saying anything. This scene made me laugh so hard. I bet, Consort Ruyang felt humiliated. LOL! 😂😂😂 Concubine Yue continuously lectures these spoiled brat children. She even made the Crown Princess cry. 😄 I love Concubine Yue. She is nice to Shousang and General Ling.🥰

Although this is a great show, how many times have we seen a show about the more than capable adopted son of the Emperor?!

I haven't had time to watch this drama completely, but is their a reason why she's not the Empress, because she seems to be the more proactive Consort to his highness, instead if his legal wife, Xuan Huanghou? In ancient aristocratic families, mostly in the East, many times Noble young men already have a few concubines in the home before they are even given a Wife-Consort(legal wife), whole will eventually outrank them all.
