Finally fixed the massive issue with these cars and having issues rubbing on the wheelhouse from the inside. Since I have the quarter off already, I'd be crazy to not do this.

Could have cut the arch and left the bottom of the cut connected to the lower part of the fender and then opened the fender. Then just patched the top opening. Less metal and time! Just a thought, both work!!

I watch a ton of videos, but I'm not much of a commenter.... very nice job. My only helpful tip is to take your wheel off on the other side. Personal experience... I've damaged stuff I didn't want/mean to with weld sparks/slag. It's been great watching your skills progress!

Good job! But too late now but you probably could have cut across the top and down the sides and pull the wheelhouse back and then fill in the top and sides vs cutting it all the way out. Just my thought from watching you. 👍🏽

I’ve watched all of your Galaxie videos. I’m now working my way through you’re truck videos. My first car was a 64 Galaxie that my Dad bought in 1970 that he still has. I bought my 72 F100 in 1994 and my 71 F250 in 2007. Went totally through the F250 and am about to do the same with my F100. Keep up the good work.

The tape line idea was a good start, but the actual fender at the tail light is out away from the tail panel more than where you had the tape, that with the bow in the fender front to back, you'll find you might have like 2 more inches than you thought

Something to think about is to get metal from the auto salvage yard from vehicle roofs, trunks and hoods and on some you can also get the hidden support frames. Used bi-metal jig saw or reciprocating saw. Check prices and it is already vehicle thick. Fitzee's Fabrications channel tip! Look at hood flare video

This dude has it going on. Of all the Channels out there, and there are some real Jokesters as far as their passions, so you have to weed your way thru to find the real car enthusiasts. I stumbled onto Junkyard Digs, than Craig and Dylan McCool. All 3 good channels but very different in their content and personal drive, no pun intended. Craig is polished way beyond those other two, but hey thats not really their game to be fair. Its easy to get caught up in watching videos only to say, I'll never get that time back. These 3 are driven with their passions. Check him all out. Great job Craig.

my dad did this on a chevelle i think but he did it conversely of what you did. he removed the axle, cut off the wheel well from the tires spot, then did his sheet metal design from a bunch of cardboard engineering. he used the side panel as reference to hoe much he could open yhe wheel well, left about an inch or so of space between the panel and his wheel well. so i think you can do the same thing with the white car. take off the axle and do your work from inside the wheel well. just a thought

wear a respirator please, all that grinding, cutting, welding.. even if its outdoors.. that gets into your lungs.. dont do what i did, i still have wheezing and stuff in my lungs a year later almost and thats just from 1 day of cutting metal at the junkyard for my wagoneer... Once i started to wear a respirator.. just one day of doing metal work on my wagoneer, i took it off and the fabric was BLACK and orange from the rust dust.. The main reason i didnt wear one was because i couldnt find them due to covid just starting and everyone buying them and then the gov confiscating them... PISSES ME OFF, but now you can buy them on amazon for $30
