Hey, everyone, I'm back with another Marcelito reaction, today it's the long awaited Beauty And The Beast performance from AGT the Champions.
You guys heavily requested this one and now I can see why...it's incredible, I didn't think it was possible for him to shock or wow me anymore than his first performance did, but boy was I wrong!
As the title suggests, I got a bit more context around the whole Simon debacle and I agree it does seem weird...although Simon has always been a bit harsh.
Let's just say I had some choice words for him lol.

Simon is harsh on every decision at AGT...but at least He got 4th place winner on AGT -the champions...❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much, that’s honestly made my day! I never know how I’ll be perceived in these videos, so it’s nice to now the majority enjoy my comments and interjections for the most part. I had no idea Simon suggested/made him sing that that honestly sucks so much, made me look at those shows in a whole new light. I knew they were scripted but not to that level 😒

That's the reason why Marcelito didn't won in AGT and imagine the winner is only a dance group. Alot of analysis, complains and disappointments are in YT, take a look if you have time. 4th Impact (aka 4th Power) didn't won as well in X Factor UK.

He's not only harsh but hypocritical HE CHOSE THIS SONG FOR MARCELITO. Marcelito wanred to sing I Believe in 6 voices to raise the bar and showcase his talent for the finale but Simon refused insisted on this song and then his comments absolutely a hypocrit. Then finished in 4th place. Simon didn't want him to win. Also Simon made the same comment about having a huge career ahead of him in the semi-finals. He chose thesong and wouldn't allow Marcelito his choice

That’s absolutely diabolical, Simon is out here like some James Bond villain…pulling all the strings! That would’ve been so cool as well, imagine 6 voices on one track, he could be his own boyband or girlband if he wanted lol. Definitely does seem Simon has more of a part to play in this than I thought even after this reaction…kind of ruins X-Factor and Britain’s/America’s Got Talent for me. Yeah I’ve noticed that the Filipino artists seem really comfortable switching between English and Tagalog, super impressive. Embarrassingly though I don’t think it works the same way for our artists…you’re lucky if they speak proper English half the time 🤣

If you watched AGT with all Marcelito's appearances, you'll see that Simon's facial expressions gradually changed. He never intended for Marcelito to win; it was all about the money and the ratings so Simon just used Marcelito for that purpose. Really made Marcelito's fans very angry when he didn't win.

Supposedly, AGT chose the song for him. Furthermore, I don't in a million years believe the "super fans" were objectively voting independent of what Simon wanted. There's no discussion of how these fans were chosen, nor how they voted and decided. Those who believe it was "fair" probably think they can buy the Eiffel Tower online. More likely is that the onerous contract imposed on the winner by AGT was not going to be agreed to by Marcelito.

If that’s actually true then there’s not much they can say to excuse it…seems pretty obvious they planned to do him dirty. Just feel so sorry for Marcelito, coming from where he has and with that voice, he truly deserved the win imo (although I haven’t heard his fellow competitors). I agree… definitely something fishy going on, no way Marcelito didn’t get a large portion of the audience votes. Yeah, maybe you’re right, some sort of egregious contract that was enforced onto the winner which Marcelito refused to sign. As I understand it, Simon Cowel did not want Marcelito to win. The singing contestants give the show a list of sons that they can sing.or like to sing. On that list was Beauty and the Beast, that is not a "final" quality. Simon makes it seem like Marcelito chose poorly but Simon chose the song and more or less made Marcelito sing it, although Marcelito didn't really think it was a "final" quality either. Don't know what was on his list and what song he would have rather sung. This was the controversy as Simon had personally tanked Marcelito's chance he came in fourth, which in the final, is last place. This actually leaked before the taping of the show. These "GT" like AGT and BGT are really just political judge shows rather than just talent. The latest is MB14 on BGT, he got a Golden Buzzer but due to some political goings on between Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli didn't think that MB14 had enough diversity that MB14 somehow was left out of the semifinals that the Golden Buzzer guarantees. This time I think that Simon and Alesha Dixon expected to hear MB14.

I got one that will blow ur mind...kinda like marcelito did. This is a younger Russian lady, Diana Ankudinova, covering a song by Elvis Presley called " Can't Help Falling in Love ". Nobody, and I mean NOBODY sings like this. She pretty much made the song her own. You won't be disappointed...I promise. It's also performed in English so no captions needed. 😀

That’s honestly so sad for Marcelito, glad he was able to put it all behind him and not let it knock his confidence. How Simon is qualified to judge someone’s talent when he has none except exploiting artists is insane to me. Oh well, we the fans know that Marcelito doesn’t need AGT or Simon, he’s got enough talent to make it on his own.

Honestly that’s made me really angry. At first I thought he was just being a dick, but after everyone’s told me this it’s made me feel really bad for Marcelito. I’d like to see Simon even try to do that, wouldn’t hit a single note.
