And when you seen how good Cantwell was for you when he first signed, he seems a shadow of his former self. Dog shite pretty much sums this team up , I’m probably your oldest subscriber (73)and supported Rangers since a was in nappies , I remember our glory days when every Rangers player would come off the park after the game totally drained bleeding and bruised , but this lot are a complete shambles,not all the managers fault by any means we need players that have our beloved team in their hearts if they bleed they bleed blue , Can’t remember how long ago it’s been since I have felt as dejected as I do now about our team , a sad day indeed.

Looking at the season, I think we're struggling now because of a few factors: 1. Beale not getting pre-season right, meaning the players weren't ready; 2. Clement coming in and (probably) having to push the players to get to his required fitness levels; 3. Injuries, possibly because of 1 and 2; and 4. seems to have been a psychological drop in performance since we dropped out of Europe. We've had to deliver high performance in Europe, but maybe the daily grind of the SPL isn't enough to motivate some of these players as, sadly, we've seen performances dip horribly to the point where we're now needing a massive uplift in our game if we have any chance of reclaiming the title.

Yeah I agree. I think we were fooled by the good run we went on initially under Clement, but that merely papered over the cracks that this squad was built terribly in the Summer- a squad devoid of wingers and with very poor strikers. Cantwell isn’t the answer either, and our midfield (bar Diomande) is very poor. We still have a few good players to build the squad around next season (Butland, Sterling, Ridvan, Diomande etc) but the rest either aren’t good enough or lack the mentality to be league winners. It’s infuriating cos Celtic are poor this season. However we are worse.

It’s been a rough few weeks for Rangers but they’ve been on a great run. Thy could still win this. It’s not as bad as you’re making out. This is just frustration. Remember there’s a few guys in there who got to a European final. One thing for sure, if you want to win this league, you need near to perfection for the remaining games.

Another problem is that the transfer market you (and Celtic tbf) are operating in means that every signing is a gamble. You can’t guarantee top players with a winning mentality in the £2/3m bracket. Most will be average with the odd diamond in the rough. Get rid of all the current mob by all means but the incoming ones might be no better.
