As a person who’s worked in the F&B industry for years I couldn’t agree with this more Which is precisely why I always make sure I’m really nice to my guests even when I’m not feeling it. I use a lot of hand gestures to make sure it looks like I’m engaged at the least even if my mindset isn’t always the brightest. I hate getting treated like shit when I go for food so I make sure to try and avoid doing it to people as often as possible

I'm from the U.S. I've only left a penny twice for service. It's better than no tip at all. It lets them wonder.

Don't you think that's being selfish? Pay the full tip. Waiters, waitresses, and food delivery people deserve so much more respect for dealing with so much crap while serving, preparing, and delivering our foods 24/7.

@@GothicFoxglove Im going to go off on a limb here and guess that he left a penny because they didnt deserve a tip. Tips are rewards for service. You want a reward then earn it.
