I was excited to see that a new video was posted. Thanks for sharing! I love how you introduce your sons to a variety of life experiences; however, I think that boxing is not a good sport for them to participate in. Especially where they're indoctrinating your sons to fight against each other. When they fight each other at home, you tell them not to fight; however, you've enrolled them in an activity where it's allowed for them to fight against each other. It sends mix messages to your sons: "don't fight; yes, now fight". Not to mention the potential physical harm that they can possibly sustain, and you cheer for one son to kick and punch the other. I'm not trying to come down on you, because I see that you are an excellent mother, and you love your sons dearly. Enroll them in activities where they learn to pick each other up, and not beat each other down. It starts when they' re young: like now. What about flag football, tennis, track and field, gymnastics, etc. My criticism is sincere.

To say all of that, and then say “maybe flag football” as an alternative cancels out your concern. I’m sure their class (which also isn’t a boxing class) teaches discipline, what’s right/wrong, safety, and other values. If anything, I could say it’s teaching them that there is a time/place to fight, and it’s helping them get that energy out in a safe space, instead of just fighting at home. Instead of giving unwarranted criticism, you could have asked what the benefits of the class were and if it’s helped them in any way. I’m sure if she didn’t feel it would be beneficial for HER children, she would not have enrolled them.
