Savage Worlds some great settings: Pathfinder, Deadlands, Rifts, Rippers, All for One, Legend of Ghost Mountain, ETU, Necessary Evil: Breakout, Goon, Interface Zero, Vermilium, The Powder Mage, and so many more. The things I like most about this system, card based initiative, dials for the GM to get the "feel" of any genre they want to run. The best part, the setting books are not needed to run anything, you can just use the rules from the core book (If you do not mind the legwork). Odds are there is a book for anything out there you want to run. Of those listed above, my favorite settings are: Legend of Ghost Mountain - Martial Arts Fantasy All for One: Regime Diabloique - Three Musketeers vs demons, werewolves etc. Rippers - Monster hunters graft body parts from defeated monsters to gain their powers The Powder Mage - based on the books, magic via the consumption of gun powder

Yes you have; it's one of the best systems around today. Good job. 🙂 I have the book sitting here on my desk right now and been playing since the last edition. We have many of the setting books.

Looking forward to this series, as I've been wanting to get into this ruleset for a while. Just thought I'd mention Fantasy Grounds is currently including Savage Worlds Adventure Edition with their VTT licenses which are currently on sale!

I've been playing Savage Worlds since 2007 and love it!

I've been running this for my own setting at a public table here in Reno Nevada and now mange 4 other GMs running the same system. We rotate every 3 weeks.

The last revision was 2023. but this edition is 6 or seven years old. The changes in this revision are mostly minor edits for clarity. rather than system changes.

I picked up the Explorer's Edition a while back. Cool stuff!

Sorry, but Savage Worlds Adventure Edition was released in 2018. The recently did a new printing with updates and that is the 2023.

I can’t shake the feeling that swade was one step forward and two steps back. I’ve had issues with their arcane backgrounds being boring, the game being made overall less challenging and oh my god the art is a shit show. I’m torn on if I should play swade anyway or just stick to deluxe, like I kinda regret backing at the collectors level
