Haliburton's scoring is down because the Bucks aren't allowing him to have the ball. The moment he touches it, he's getting blitzed, doubled, trapped, and walled off. He was a LOT more aggressive this game than he was in game 1, but the box score isn't going to show it. It also helps that people other than Siakam made shots when Haliburton passed them the ball, because they missed everything in game 1. The Bucks are terrified that Haliburton is going to catch fire, so they've been willing to let Siakam and Turner be the ones to try and beat them. And Siakam is just carving them up.

Really interesting to me that the Wolves defensive plan against the Suns is basically the opposite of what the Nuggets plan was last year. As little doubling, recovering, and scrambling as possible instead of a plan based on doubling, shifting, and recovering. What I find interesting is that both have worked, both are the plan that fits their defensive personnel, but I just find it funny that the difference in personnel makes it so the exact opposite plans are effective

Norm.. 2-10 Russ only played 23 mins in game 1. The reason the mavs were coming back in game 1 at the end was because Russ was subbed out in the middle of the 4th when he shouldn’t have been since when he guarded kyrie he went 0-7 when guarded by Russ and runs a pace that the mavs aren’t good at defending with. When will the coaching staff see this? When they’re down 3-1?

Russ was shooting too much given that he was 1/7 and got a few fouls, I think Lue wanted him in more but didn’t want to risk him fouling the mavs more. I think if Russ was having a better offensive game the clips would have won tho

As a Mavs fans, I don’t feel like any other team could guard us as good as the clippers can. So the clippers are the best chance at keeping us out of the finals imo. Whoever wins this series I think will come out of the west. It’s looking like Denver and the TWolves are going to have an absolute war next round. Whereas with all due respect to OKC but I don’t think they can beat Dallas or the Clips in 4 games

The Mavs and the Clippers were my favorite teams during the regular season. This series is shaping up to be truly incredible. The Clippers favs who don't think Luka is going to go nuclear, are likely wrong. The Mavs fans who don't think Kawhi only gets better the longer he stays healthy, are certainly wrong. I imagine a lot of the series will be filled out by the provisions of Powell and Gafford/Lively.

Dallas. They are hurting themselves. Game 1, they shot very poorly. And it had nothing to do with Clipper defense. 31.8% on open shots (14/44), 47.2% when guarded (17/36). But they played no defense. Game 2: Great defense. But shooting was the same. 39.6% on open shots (19/48), 46.4% when guarded (13/28). Since the break, Dallas defense has bailed them out on bad shooting nights so they can win close games. Game 2 shows that too. But when Dallas starts making open shots like they are used to, the Clippers can’t do anything about it. Their defense is one of the reasons why they were a bad team since the break.

You have no idea or you are not paying attention? This is a game of adjustments. The clippers have no answer against mavs small ball, and we clearly saw that in the 4thQ. Also, nobody is talking about Kyrie having a subpar game and expecting him to explode at some point. Role players usually shoot well on their home floor, so I won't be surprised if this end up 3-1 going back to Los Angeles.

I hate hearing about how Russel Westbrook re-invented himself. He literally just sat on the bench. He’s not good, running around as fast as you can and bumping into people does not make you a good basketball player. Sometimes he makes good plays but majority his presence is and for whatever team he’s on. Get his annoying bum ass out of the league
