You are right about the power dynamics imbalance between Daemon and Rhaenyra. But it's probably beneficial to think about the power dynamics imbalance between Rhaenyra and Criston Cole too. She's basically his boss and the person that got him his job. Obviously, he was a consenting participant. But it seemed like Rhaenyra was also a consenting participant with Daemon. I'm not trying to say these two instances were exactly the same but it's worth thinking about.

Rhanerya's encounter with Criston was an abuse of power and questionably consensual. She is far above him in station and can order him around. He is risking his life by being pressured into sleeping with her. He literally told her no and she did not accept it or back off. Take that as you will.
