I Held the FIRST Smash Bros Nuzlocke Tournament

Nuzlockes are always a great way to spice things up in Pokemon so why not try it in Smash Bros! I hosted a tournament and put $150 on the line to see who was the best Nuzlocker in Smash Bros. The rules of the tournament are simple, if you lose a game with a character they are considered DEAD for the rest of the bracket.
With competitors such as Moe ඞ, JaZaR, and Ling joining this event we got to see some of North America's greatest players duke it out with their pockets. Who do you think will be crowned the champion in this event?

My idea is a tournament wwre you cant jump the stages could be kof and bridge of elden the way to make sure no one jumps make them use a control set without a jump

This could be interesting. Turn it into a standard 2d fighter in some senses. Can only go airborne if your character has a special move for it. I like it I think it's worth testing!

If you do this again I might suggest no echos unless they're significantly different. Maybe make it a vote if they're different enough, because duplicate mains seems against the spirit of the event

Echoes are definitely a controversial point of the tournament. If I do this again I'll probably have a "species" clause that doesn't allow echoes. I'll probably rule it so that if you switch to the square CSS if your character overlaps with another they don't count.
