Lmaoo true, he is just so forgettable though! Doesn’t arrive until year 2 and just stands in front of the river or in his house all the time. I never cross paths with him and legitimately forget he exists

@@nonacrina He is really easy to befriend though, just gift him eggs which you should have plenty and for his birthday on Spring 4 give him roasted hazelnuts that you still have from last year's fall.

Lol certainly. I like Steve Harvey’s quips and comedy but he does say some stuff that’s off the cuff. I support my fellow Christians but if he continues to say homophobic or racist things then I’ll probably pull back. There are other fellow Christians I can support that are better 🙂

I’m surprised blueberries aren’t on the list. By that time you’re diving in cash so you just keep a stack around to gift to people and eat.

@@softmossdog It's just a lollipop though, I think a lot of people find it forgettable for that reason.

@@softmossdog Miner's treat requires milk and sugar, something that a new player at the start of the game wouldn't have access to. It's not as convenient as cave carrots or salmonberries

@@velvetbutterfly But the point of the question isn't to pick a food that is just tasty in general, it's to pick a dish that is either uncommon, or non existent in your day to day life. Most people have never tried a melon flavoured pink cake before. Who knows what a strange bun tastes like? A dish that increases your fortune? What would that taste like? It's why salad and pancakes are such a bad answer to the question. You can already get that stuff easily, so of course no one would choose that and there'd be no way they'd be on the board.

Tbf, Kent's PTSD isn't likely to put him in an early grave or driving his children away like Pam and Shane's alcoholism.

​@rachelk4805 tell me you don't know anyone with war related PTSD without telling me. It can, will and has absolutely decimated families as many do not ever mentally return from war. In regards to the game CA wouldn't code that but realistically Kents PTSD could absolutely destroy his life.

I was appalled he wasn't on the list. He's like one of the nicest people in town and ends up working for a kids TV show if I'm not mistaken.

some small part of the problem is "how often do you rummage through the trash"? the trash itself is not worth the effort, avoiding NPC detection often means bypassing what is likely going to be nothing better than trash over wasting time waiting for an opening, and some cans dont have any rare loot whatsoever in their pools. All of that isnt even mentioning just how out of the way some of them are, with jojamart as the worst offender. Most i know only check the trash on the way to wherever they are going, and only if they think they can avoid the friendship loss instead of going out of their way to check them. As such, that means maybe twice a week for every can during a gifting marathon and the one in front of jodi's house and the one next to the saloon every mine day of year 1 spring after harvesting onions. Outside of spring, it is better to go north out the farm or take the bus stop minecart, and trips to the museum and clint's are irregular.

I go through the trash alot mostly because I tend to bug people I have no hearts with like alex,Vincent, and Lewis people I plan to get hearts with later in the game.
