Today I'm taking you along for Arizona's hardest elk hunt. 4.6 Million acre of land and just 50 elk.
Plus we have a full weekend of outdoor adventures.
This is my 10th day on the Kaibab chasing these elk this year, and as a bonus, we're going to do some shed hunting, eat good food, and I'm going to show you the story of how I got my first buck by sniping my buddies target buck on opening day archery back in august.

I have and still do feel that way about thinking I should be doing something else while out and about. It can be hard to juggle both family and personal time for some.....I feel ya.

You know I've never sold any knives before, only ever given them away… let me think about it a little, if i did it, I'm not sure how i would even price them…

Haha, I guess I should clarify - is this hard, difficult, or challenging? It’s incredibly low success probability. I haven’t found a hunt with lower success rates than this.

Horse back would be best to cut fresh tracks. Man, you don’t like your job do you? You’ll get it worked out….

I don't have horses, but I've been getting comments that cutting fresh tracks would be a decent strategy if you can move quick. As for my job, i actually have a really great job, so i don't mean to complain. I'll be more careful of that.

@@Shouldwegooutside Just cause a guy has a great job doesn’t mean he likes it…. I’ve have great careers that had great benefits, pay and retirement but I absolutely hated them! Plus the people it attracted were not my type of guys I wanted to work with. But because of immaturity and other skeletons in my closet, I allowed my emotions and anger to act out….. but that was just me. You already let the cat out of the bag, (so to speak….) Working out hard and ice baths make a huge difference for the better. You know when you need to move to another line of work when you/I do things that could hurt yourself, your marriage, family or future careers. We need buddies who know what you’re / we’re going through and can call us out on our B.S. which is not an easy thing to allow. Best wishes on your hunt. I think when you saw those tracks in the snow you should have chased after them hard! But don’t know your schedule/situation. Maybe you didn’t have time. Maybe you’re not in good enough shape as it is very difficult to chases them down. Most will tell you not to, but you can make that work in the mountains sometimes. If you did get one, maybe you wouldn’t have been able to get it out. That can be a huge undertaking as well -IDK But I am enjoying these videos as I do live in the area, just outa Page. I love cutting wood up there. And have looked for the elk once. I have killed a few deer up there w a bow. Fun place for sure. Again best wishes Jesus is King
