I used to play a game where the minecarts would be far apart, and always going forwards, so if it hits a side, it goes back, and you just had to shoot the player on the other side with a bow and arrow

I'd give them diamond axes with sharpness IV, just to make it more high-stakes. Instead of swinging like drunken sailors, they'll need to judge the distance and timing to be able to swing as many times as possible within the limited time they have to hit eachother. If they swing too early or- god forbid- miss, they'll be at a serious disadvantage as the other person takes advantage of the long windup time of the axe.

A traditional just in Minecraft should be two players on their horse using a trident to kill each other, however you are not allowed to throw the trident.

When I started playing minecraft back then I wanted to build a mine cart pvp mini game but I never had any knowledge of redstone so I never had the chance to finnish it but I guess you succeeded so congrats on your success

this minigame its like a fight in medieval times. you know, 2 man duel with a spiral spear riding a horse, idk the real name of the duel, and Cmiiw

Idea: make this far then use bow and arrow or cross bow Ammo: arrow,tipped arrow and fireworks for crossbow

Pair this with a nausea potion make it all the more fun

I have an idea: put a horse in each minecart and have the players ride the horse so it's more accurate and it looks funnier

Oh hey, I've done this one 5 years ago. We had to add a fence down the middle because one of us kept aiming for the cart and turning the joust into a duel.

You severely overestimate my radatone capabilities. Anything more complex than torches, switches and pressure plates and I am completely lost.

This reminds me of a hypixel mini game in which people are on pigs and have to kill eachother as they mover around without much control of the pigs movement

this with more separation and bows to shoot the enemy minecart would be cooler
