Hello artists and welcome to the first episode of me covering the work I do as I go through Ross Draws Digital Bootcamp via his Patreon!

As I said in the video, I will be covering all of the classes that I think are most relevant to my own practice and KZfaq channel so make sure to have a look at the syllabus to see everything Ross has to offer.
If anyone is wondering who I am, I’m a graduate from University of the Arts London (I did a Painting BA at Wimbledon, graduated in 2018) and I’m here to simply communicate as much useful information as I can to the masses and document my career as an artist. I try my best to speak about only what I know of and a thank you to all those supporting the channel so far, it has literally been built mostly from the interactions with the KZfaq community.

HEY EVERYONE! Gonna start heading out to galleries soon now that all the rules are relaxing a bit here in the UK. Going to head to the Royal Drawing School end of year exhibition first, do you guys have any suggestions for shows here in the UK?

Could you give us an overview of what is in the class. Does it explain layering, how to approach a study, etc ? I'm moving from traditional media too and would like to understand what the course offers and whether it's worth the money/time. I'm computer savvy but the digital art aspect of PS/Clip Studio is what I lack. How to do detail, layer blending/multiply/etc are things I need to understand. How good is it from this level ? Thanks for sharing. Very helpful but leaves me with more questions. Maybe RossDraws has some better descriptions of his course materials ?

Going to do a big special video once it's all done, I'll do small updates with KZfaq shorts maybe but I'll go through the whole process with storytelling etc once it's done 😁

They're good classes, I just chose the ones that were relevant to myself.

So if you join his patron you can recieve his tutorials or you still have to buy the video?

If you join you get a video or two per month, but previous months are now bought via his site I think.

@@hachichi12345 depends on you and what you want to learn. Paying 8 pounds for a good quality lesson is a steal haha 😆 Not everything may be relevant to you though, there's also other creators who do similar things - depends on who you like presenting to you.

I tried out several classes and I can say that I didn’t find a lot of useful information. Maybe, for complete beginners it’s good, but for those advancing there’s little to no useful info. I love Ross and his art is amazing but I expected a little more out of his classes 💔

Yeah I'm very inexperienced when it comes to digital painting, so I guess my perspective is from that angle. Interesting to hear from someone who knows what they're looking at 😆
