I haven't eaten pizza pockets in a mi ute because they're mostly crust and Terry little filling. This will certainly jazz up the fillings.
@PoeLemic22 күн бұрын
Yes, I agree 100%. They used to be better years ago, but now, they seem like they have no stuffing and (if so) it is low-quality, scrap-pieces of something else. We had bought some during Covid that were pure gritty tasting. I swear -- we are not going to buy them again. They were pure sauce and maybe a pepporini or two in one huge one. NO JOKE.

This might be a good quick air fryer lunch or dinner, just make one or two instead of the whole pan. Pizza sauce is usually thicker and pastier to coat the flat surface of the crust. Movie party night meal for teens is what I see with this. Again, thanks for your great meal, tailgate and potluck ideas!

No, for us, we don't think ... 3:25 ... that spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, and marinara sauce tastes the same. Now, if you use the same jar to make them, then (maybe) they do taste the same.

I made these tonight for our supper. It was card night with my granddaughter n her fiancé n 3 of there 4 kids . I usually can’t make something that the kids will eat where they end up having PB n J sandwich. Well omgosh they ate and asked for seconds n the one grandson asked for more later as he was hungry. And us adults thought it was pretty darn good. I say it’s a keeper . My granddaughter asked for the recipe as the kids wanted her to make it. Then I made up another pan for my daughter who just had surgery and she couldn’t thank me enough and how good it was. So don’t knock it till you try it mmmmmm good 👍 Thanks Justine ❤

My husband would eat this in a hot second! He IS from NYC, growing up eating the best pizza in the world, but he would dig in. I make pizza a couple of times a month just for him. So anything pizza-ish is fine in his book! We bought hot pockets at times when we were younger, our son would beg for them. What a quick way to get that pizza fix, albeit too much sodium for us. I like the idea, just add olives! Thanks Justine, you’re so fun, and very nice. Have a great Monday! 🍕🥰🇺🇸

@@emmel4fun He was. He still misses it. But the man just never complains about food. Sometimes I read him some of the negative comments on these channels. He just looks at me and says “I guess they’ve never gone without any food.” He’s a quiet and serious man. He watched his father pull his family out of extreme poverty to become a successful entrepreneur. He’s just like his Dad. He’s traveled all over the world sampling many cuisines. And in our almost 40 years he’s never once complained about anything I set before him to eat. So when it comes to food his attitude is, be grateful. 🇺🇸

I can tell a difference in pizza sauce vs spaghetti sauce or marinara. I believe that difference may be that pizza sauce uses tomato paste instead and marinara is basically a base for spaghetti sauce.
@cynthiasanchez634623 күн бұрын
My husband can tell no difference. So I always have plenty of marinara sauce stocked in case I don’t have pizza sauce in making pizza. A good marinara is always great to have on hand. I always add extra spices anyway! You may definitely be right about that ingredient. 👍🇺🇸
