I leave my Narrowboat & tranquility of the Macclesfield canal to venture into the outside world [46]

In this weeks video I cruise my narrowboat to Bollington on the Macclesfield canal. I practise my drone flying and take my Brompton folding bike for a spin. I also attempt to use Northern Rail to catch 2 trains to visit my mum on mothers day but unfortunately due to terrible service both trains were cancelled and I embark on a journey from hell which ends with me spending 2 hours on a very smelly bus!

I like that the hinges on the cupboards behind you match the wood. I notice goofy stuff like that. Your boat is so beautiful and so comfortable. Excellent boat handling, so many people here in the USA bang into the shore or the dock or the pier or wherever. Slow down! When I bought my first boat, my friend David said "don't go any faster than you want to hit something." Great advice. Wow, cruising Ireland. I know I'm still way behind in your videos, but I hope you get over there. Love the history you share with us. Passed your test! YAY! thanks for wearing the Ukraine button. Great drone footage. What a bloody palava with the trains. I've just deleted a load of footage I filmed in bloody slow motion and it was important lock footage. Ffs. Just finished the Huddersfield narrow. I'm never going back to that shit canal. Stunning scenery but the canal itself. People turned back, the boat behind me got stuck every day. I did it on my own without calling CRT. whey hey Mrs Pirate. Great vlog.

Here she is our lovely Heidi right on time and I'm all behind like Browns Cows .Had a blood test this morning, just got my INR numbers ...that's International and National Rum level and its right on the money *L*.........actually coz I'm on Wafarin I have to get my blood tested quite frequently .So you're now a fully qualified pilot, congratulations I'll look for you on my next British Airways flight...do you have to fill it with water like your boat...cassete or compost?

As a former public high school teacher I could just get lost in the peace and quiet of the canals. This was a lovely trip.. I will have to thank Anthony and Paul for interducing me to your channel. Beautiful.!!!!
