Cynthia Wambui Otieno knows what it means to sacrifice everything for the man you love.
When her husband Donald was detained in America and later deported, she stuck with him though their love was barely new.
In detention, she wrote him encouragement letters everyday and upon deportation, it took her only six months to come home to the love of her life.
Together, they have been married for 12 years.

Well,not all sacrifice stories end well.Mine was the worst sacrifice I ever made which pulled me backwards and now I’m stagnant .I left Bahrain in 2020 to go start a life with my ex hubby who had absolutely nothing. I remember I had to furnish his house cause it looked pathetic.I provided food for him and guess what guys, he stole my everything and conned me 207k. I’m back to Bahrain square one.

Marriage is not purpose; it's a journey with someone who will help you achieve your purpose. This is so apt, and l must say that Cynthia is so hilarious. Again, you should be convinced about your decisions on who to be with; do not be coarced into doing that. Marriage is intentionality that also comes with hard work. Thank you Lynn for bringing Donald and Cynthia on the show.
