My boyfriend has a 1990 fox body convertible that is all original with matching #'s it's not tore up inside and not all beat up and rusted out with a clean title, Lot of people have tried to buy it for that very reason and he won't sell it for that very fact, he says it's soon to be a collectors item, being a fox body for 1, & 2 it's a convertible that's complete !

In case U hadn't noticed before, that Mustang has been running around on slicks for practically the entire time that Molly has owned her. But you're right, it does need a different clutch & pressure plate in it....one that she can feather, instead of being "all in, or all out" (& then throw on a pair of slicks, & prepare for some 9.50 passes) !!

@@chriscatarcio2983 Did you just compare a state of the art Liberty clutchless 5 speed in a completely sorted, top of the N/A food chain race car, that changes it's rear and transmission gears to meet track and atmospheric conditions constantly.....not to mention the mountain of data used to adjust an infinitely adjustable (base/counter) clutch package, to the trans/clutch combo in this Mustang??? In what country does a stock, or super stock stick car have to weigh 200 more pounds than an automatic combination in the same class designation??? I used to crew on an 8sec super stock car and there was no such rule that we knew of. If that Mustang had a 3 speed auto with lightweight internals and an 8in converter that flashed around 900 to 1000rpm below peak horsepower, while dropping about 800rpm between shifts, it would be quicker than the combination currently in the car. Wouldn't be as much fun to drive, but definitely more consistent and quicker.

@@jeffperrault8340 My son replied as you can see. He's got an '88 notchback that's had frame connectors and strut brace, etc.. It was bought as a mystery car with no knowledge of anything from the previous owner. When the cash flow allows, ww're hoping to build a 408 Windsor for it. He has the sought-after '69 Windsor 4 bbl. small chamber heads that have already been done, good springs, screw-in studs and guide plates, SVO roller rockers. I'd like to find a short block already done, and bolt those heads on it and go. He has a 7 qt. Moroso pan, and main stud girdle also. Air gap intake manifold, Holley 750 double pumper carb. with the 4 corner idle, complete nitrous plate system, and MSD dist. and 6al box. So we just need a good block and rotating assembly. I'd much rather go turbo than nitrous because it's much easier on the internals, but also prohibitively expensive. Anyway, good to hear there's another Ford fan here in this corner of the world. N.H. Mustlecars season opener car show at the Deeefield Fairgrounds is I think the 3rd weekend in May, Fri., Sat., Sun.. it was good last fall, a good see.
