Exactly! I've never really had friends, and the one "best friend" I had in my tweens was actually rather toxic and manipulative, she even stole one of my LPS once! To put it in perspective, it made perfect sense to little 11-12yo me that we couldn't be seen together at school, lest her other friends see and… abandon her, I guess? Or target her too, beats me. I was not exactly popular at school, and most of my class bullied me relentlessly. My "best friend" included. Anyway, my point is, I never even knew that *this,* what Thomas and his friends have, is what real friendships are supposed to be like. I never even knew they *could* be like this. So seeing Thomas have such wonderful friends, how they goof off together, how they're not afraid to show emotions and be vulnerable around one another, and how they trust each other enough to do things like this, it… it makes me so, so happy! Truly, it does! I feel so, so incredibly happy for them! But… it also makes me feel sad. It makes me feel sad that I've never gotten to experience anything like this, and don't know that I ever will… it hurts. It's probably why I both absolutely love the Disney Friendship Mash-Up, yet it also breaks my heart and makes me cry pretty much every time. Anyway, I've rambled on enough, but the bottom line is, I could not agree with you more!

So, I joked, "Haha, what if it's just like redecorating his space or replacing that weird painting? That'd be funny." And I was RIGHT. At some parts, I notice the PC is on the floor. While it's fine if it's Hardwood, ideally it does not sit on carpet. I'd recommend getting a very small low-table or shelf to put it on! The lifespan of the PC will be shortened if left to run on the carpet

I feel like one thing was missing which is a rug! I get there's already a carpet on the floor but a colored rug would REALLY bring that together. Maybe a dark blue colored one? Just a solid color dark blue? Would make it REALLY look good. It already looks amazing and adding a rug to simply bring it all together while matching the cool tones on the wall would make it amazing.

It's maybe silly but this made me so emotional. There's this fiction of self-sufficiency and isolation that society sells and upholds as the "standard of adulthood" and you guys are so consistently smashing that idea apart and showing how healthy and wonderful a tight adult friend group can be. I hope I have for the rest of my life something as beautiful as you have: friends you can rely on when something is tough or scary, who will go out of their way to make something awesome for you, and who know you'll do the same back for them. The space looks fantastic, they did a great job.

this is so sweet! i turned 20 today so the fact i'll probably be moving out soon has been on my mind and i hope when i do, my friends will be willing to help me out in a similar way. i'm disabled and struggle with mobility so having friends help figure out how to keep my space nicely put together would be so helpful. the space in the video looks so great and everyone did such a great job!

Thomas, you are so utterly lucky. These guys took this idea so easily, and worked so hard to make it YOUR space. They’re wonderful people, getting so excited over the smallest things. The pure joy they hold (I’m not done watching I can’t wait to see your reaction!) They’re the sweetest, and you truly deserve this. I think you need a place and home with space to be comfortable in. They kept thinking of you the whole time, which sometimes people struggle cus they want to make it about them, yet they kept thinking of how to make it “Thomas”.
