They did you dirty on some of those prompts btw. The one about fighting food and making it? If not for 'the prince is hungry' that would be todoroki. I think it was the same for the other fake ones too, where they basically took actual anime prompts but then added one thing that made them fake.

Two Japanese delinquents go to a Italian restaurant and the food has weird healing properties and one of the delinquents thinks something is wrong with the chef, but the chef just has bizarre powers This is an episode of jojo’s bizarre adventure: diamond is unbreakable

I want to recommend _Sweetness & Lightning_ ! About a father who learns to cook for his daughter's sake after his wife's death. Sounds sad, is very heartwarming.

Restaurant to another world is one of my favorites. The prompt was...poorly written. The series is actually a compilation of short stories about fantasy creatures and what they go on in life, tied to this restaurant that's paired with a particular dish. So, for example, there's a lizardman tribe that fights to be 'alpha' who gets to go through the door, eat their fill and then bring back a to-go order for his tribe. Or a lion-man rebel, who gets captured and imprisoned, and forced to fight in a gladiator pit, but stays even after earning his freedom because the door appears in his cell and he can't resist the steak, etc. There is an underlying plot eventually, as you meet more and more characters, but its just a delightful series that makes you want to both start writing and cooking. The half-demon waitress isn't a 'focus' so much as she's just a reoccurring character that acts as the audience proxy for the human chef to explain cooking methods/dishes to.

Yeah its one of my favourite anime and im currently reading the light novel its based on since the english translation of book six is finally getting a release on June 18th of this year. I just wish they'd release a season 3.

I don't know, maybe if he increases the amount of spice he consumes in little tiny increments every day he'll build up more of a spice tolerance. I still have no idea how to build my own spice tolerance up from black pepper when even bell peppers taste like stomach acid to me.

Another good food anime is Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi! Its about a girl who gets spirited away to be an Oni's wife to pay off her grandfather's debt. Instead of being his wife, she decides to open a restaurant in the spirit world to pay off the debt.

One old-school one I recommend is Fighting Foodons. The people cook the food and then use magical meal tickets to turn the food into creatures that battle. How powerful the creature is depends on how well you cook the dish beforehand. They can even give them toppings during battle to enhance them. It's strange but nostalgic

Def my fave ROFA so far. I love food-related animes. Most of the prompts here I’ve ever seen or know of and all recommendable, but here’re 2 that I’ve watched if you wanna give them a shot. Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles (1 Season) - Literally about a HS girl named Koizumi who loves ramen and goes all over Japan trying different ramens. Def an anime where either you need to eat something before or during as it’ll make you hungry. The only criticism I have is that I don’t like the subplot of another HS girl obsessively stalking her, but I can generally tune it out. Takunomi (1 Season) - 4 women in their 20s live in a Japanese share house for women, and get together in the evenings for food and drinks (tho mostly drinks) to both celebrate accomplishments and bemoan problems in their everyday lives. Very slice of life and also informative on various alcohols and stuff. Fun fact: the title literally translates to ‘drinking at home’, which is exactly what the characters do.
