I live a simple, but happy, life in my 100-year-old cottage. I try to enjoy my days while I renovate to make it a little more liveable. And I'm getting there, slowly. I sleep, eat and live in this house as it currently presents itself. It is dusty and messy, but I make due. My bedroom and the bathroom are the only "clean" zones for now, and the kitchen will be the next on the list!
The reindeer pack are cute, but they ate almost all of my strawberry-plants, so we are not friends anymore.
They are welcome to stay in my garden though.

😊 living in a renovation is key for your sanity to get like 1 bedroom done first so that you have a clean comfortable space to relax in every night while living in chaos during the day.. ❤😊

This is very true!💛 At this point I had a comfortable bedroom and useable bathroom as my "clean zones". That really helped me keep my patient around the other rooms.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your pup!💛 She is 50% Shipperke, and 50% pomeranian. I agree with you, best dog ever, she is my best friend and I wish she could live as long as I live. Being a dog owner is both a blessing and a curse

Hi there, Andre from South Africa. Like your video. I hope you decided to keep the wooden floor that wooden floor is still in a very good condition. I'm starting to redo all my wooden floors in my house and it looks much better than tiles, carpets or laminated floors. Depends on if you like wood but i see you are a modern women playing with different bright paint coloures.

Hi Andre! I kept them yes, but I will remove them in the future when I renovate the kitchen and put in new wooden floors. These has been used as subflooring and is in bad condition, - even if I were to sand them with proper tools. I love wood, so you are quite correct!💛

@@MathildeHenriksen Hi. If you remove the wooden floors dont throw it away. That's good quality wood and can still be used as shelving or even to make small cabinets. Good Wood like that is very valuable. Love your renovations

First off: I love your username, haha! It is very much winter and snowy in Northern Norway now. The was filmed last summer, I am just a slow editer. Insane music in a good or a bad way? That is a good question! :D She is well behaved and I could definitely have her off her leash. But there's a lot of wild baby birds around during the summer and I don't want to scare them. I am also terrified of the eagles we have in the area. They have taken cats, so my little pup would be a easy target.

Yes I can tell that you have a wonderful life style and I would Love to share your kind of living but there's no raindeere here in Louisiana State the United States Of America and yes I'm retired from the Rail Road and I live All alone and I like Hunting and Fishing 🎣 and I have had cattle and horses and chicken's a Farm kind of life for a while but I moved from my farm House because it's hard to live a Farm life while working for a Rail Road . You are very blessed and your place is very beautiful !
