My precious boy died almost 6 weeks ago. I am Crushed, walking around playing, “Where Am I?” My ♥️is shattered. The crying & pain get so gut-wrenching I just cry out to God who I Know has His Abundant Loving arms around me as HE Holds me in The Palm of His Hand, as I’m reminded that my feelings will pass & I need to let it out, start memorializing Sammie Sunshine ☀️ & use my grief tools to help me walk through this horrific pain.

I lost my sweet Honey back in September of 1999-- a half Collie rescue--at 12 years old and I still miss her. Her buddy Athena a Sheltie runt, died 4 years later at age 10. Athena was just never the same after her best friend died. I still feel the pain. We all do.

I’m not sure what hurts more, the fact that you lose them or knowing one day they will be gone. Live each day to the fullest and enjoy. Create lasting memories that will get me through those coming days. My sweet girl is a Choc Lab and wholly devoted to me. We do everything together. I can tell her days are getting shorter. But she is doing well, but my greatest fear is that something beyond my control will take her from me. I so relate to this video and it’s a reminder to live, love, and enjoy when you can. What a sweet tribute. I just lost my little rescue Paddington to cancer... he left so fast, I had 5 weeks and he was gone, just gone! It hurts so bad and I cna't stop crying!!

I know how you feel I just put my boy my buddy in November! I asked God If I can pett him one night 3am I went back to sleep and I had a dream of him I was cleaning up when he walk in the bathroom I was so happy to see I started to pett him he look at me like me! Then I woke up in 😢 thank you Jesus!

I lost my little dog Zeusy on 09-23-2021. She was only seven but she saw me through two heart surgeries and the loneliness of the pandemic. She died the night before I was scheduled to go back to work after my second surgery as if her job of taking care of me was done. I'm sorry for your loss, Ms. Melton but thank you for the video.

Condolences on your loss of your baby. I lost my sweet girl of 17years last June 13 6:30 pm and still cry almost everyday. Her brother is right behind her (my pic) and I will have to say goodbye again, I have never been more heartbroken.

I'e had to say the hard good-bye to three of my adored, beloved rescue collies in the las 15 years. The pain never gets easy - but still: I'd rather pay the price of this pain than not have had the joy and love of being allowed to share my life with my beloved dogs. They are all still walking at my side if i look carefully, and one is certainly teaching my latest rescue collie about 'things' like how to avoid rain, the other one has shown him how to scrape rugs or towels into little heaps to lie on ... because dog beds ae so boring. Hugs to all of you who mourn the going of their beloved pet - they'll come for us when we cross over, never doubt it.

I am so sorry for your loss I know what it feels like I lost my beautiful Yorky Pooh Sister a day after her tenth birthday on January 16, 2023. I had to put it to sleep. She was diagnosed with diabetes three days earlier and she first took the insulin thenshe became insulin resistant and they said she had kidney failure I miss her so much I feel so responsible that I took her to the vet who was highly recommended he should’ve known better

I know your pain we had a border collie too he lived until 15 and a half years old we had to put him down duets him not eating and he had bad arthritis it was so sad he didn't want to go but we knew we had to do it that was over 4 years ago we got another dog and sometimes he acts just like him I'm sorry for ur loss
