It's all about speed and knowing your routes. When you are farming bananas, you are going pretty hard.

Yeah it would still be decent. But just remember that gathering is not the best way to make gold. Your better off trying to develop a niche way of making gold which involves less farming and more turnover. Flipping items, buy orders for mats, crafting, sell crafting, etc etc so many different options that are way better than this

Months ago a youtuber called LemoniTV did a really good video on how to make gold with cooking by spamming aptitude crates for cheap and using those ingredients from the crate to create better foods that sell well, then selling any excess / un-needed ingredients. It was a really good strategy, at the moment tho i dont think its quite as viable due to the changes in the game and subsequently the market. Im currently going through the math to calculate if this is still profitable, if it turns it is then the only limiting factor is how much material you can acquire and refine/craft in a span of time. New World is actually quite fun for figuring out these sorts of problems and it rewards you pretty well if you can find your own winning strategy. I think a bit of spreadsheeting and math will get you there.

But i play 3-4 hours maximum a day, sometimes even 2 hours total for two characters. So hour wise crafting makes you earn way more but if you go all in into farming you would earn more especially after expansion crafting changes..

for example a 1000 bananas on my server 5.1kg the prismatics dropped are averaging 7.5k gold from aptitude crates

It will get even worse entire economy is collapsing, i made 5.5m since the expansion but i doubt i would do much more. Even bis gears i craft don't sell as people trying to get cheaper and cheaper. Soon we will be able to craft any bis gear as cheap as 40k which is so ridiculously cheap. I stopped running muts entirely it doesn't worth our time for sure and stopped using azoth inductors as well it would still make you earn around 40-50k but nope i wouldn't bother bursting my arse for 75k tokens to just earn 40k weekly. AGS devs are so visionless they will regret these changes and revert some of them back in future updates but we will see how many people will remain, most of PVE, farmer and crafter community will stop playing..

Its killed that part of the playerbase...I didnt run mutations because I just loved mutations, I ran it because I enjoyed the RNG farm for gear to sell. I like the economy side of things and New World just obliterated theres beyond fixing . You don't need as many gearsets anymore, You can get your BiS gear within a week or 2 and no longer need to contribute to the economy by buying anything else. So the whole economy is supposed to survive off of what? Food, gems, pots? Theres not even a big incentive to get 700 GS...the difference between running 690ish and 700 is almost nothing. Just like you, the first week or 2 i made gold but that just stopped...completely, not 1 thing ive listed this last week has sold, 700 bis items, sitting on ah for cheap, no one wants. @@ggoddkkiller1342
